WorldFirst World Card Overview for E-Commerce Sellers

Vova: Hey Shawn, good to see you!

Shawn: Hi Vova! Great to be here.

Always excited to share a bit more about what we’re working on at WorldFirst.

Vova: Awesome.

What Is the WorldFirst World Card and How Does It Work

Vova: So today we’re diving into something really useful — the WorldFirst World Card.

You offer this card — but what does that actually mean?

Will we receive a physical card sent to our address?

And would it be sent to our home or office, depending on where we signed up with WorldFirst?

Also, what can we do with this card?

For example, can we grab a coffee and pay with it, or is it strictly for business transactions?

Are we able to use it for everyday spending too?

Would you mind walking us through how it works?

Shawn: Yeah, let me break it down carefully.

I want to be clear to avoid any confusion.

First, let’s start with the type of card.

As of today, the World Card is a virtual corporate card.

It’s built right into your WorldFirst account.

Once you have a WorldFirst account, you can easily activate the virtual card yourself — just a few clicks inside the system.

Once it’s activated, you can use the World Card for a wide range of scenarios.

Basically, any platform or service provider that accepts card payments will take it.

It can be Google Ads, Amazon Ads, live streaming platforms, fulfillment services, and even logistics providers.

All you have to do is enter your World Card number, and the payment will get deducted directly from your account balance.

Here’s something cool — the card also comes with monthly cashback.

It’s not exactly a refund, but cashback based on how much you spend across different platforms.

It’s like getting a small reward for doing what you were already going to do!

Vova: Very cool.

How Easy Is It to Set Up a WorldFirst Account and Activate the Card

Vova: Before we get deeper into the physical card options, just a quick check — for someone brand new to WorldFirst, how easy is it to set up an account and start using the World Card?

Shawn: It’s really straightforward.

You just visit our WorldFirst website, follow the steps to set up a business account, and once verified, you’ll see the option to activate your virtual World Card right inside the dashboard.

We’ve made it a quick and easy process because we know business owners are always busy.

Vova: That’s great to hear.

And for those reading, the link to the World Card page is given below so you can check it out in detail.

Shawn: Keep in mind, before you can activate a World Card, you need to have an existing WorldFirst account already set up.

Vova: Yeah, that makes sense.

Is a Physical World Card Coming Soon — and What Will It Offer?

Shawn: Now, looking to the near future — if you’re reading this a few weeks or months after we recorded — WorldFirst may have already launched a physical World Card too!

That would be a real, tangible card — either a Mastercard or Visa — for more offline scenarios.

It’ll allow you to tap or swipe in physical stores.

However, we still highly recommend that the World Card — both virtual and physical — mainly be used for business-related purposes.

So think business travel, advertising costs, marketing, logistics — anything that supports your company activities.

Vova: Awesome. So just to clarify — once the physical card is available, it’ll also work in places like Duty-Free shops at airports, right?

Say I want to buy something between flights — could I use the card for that?

Shawn: Yes, you’d be able to tap the card and pay for your purchase.

But one important thing to note: cash withdrawals won’t be available.

You can use the card to make payments, but you can’t use it to withdraw cash from an ATM.

Vova: Got it — so it’s for making purchases, not for pulling out cash.

Shawn: Exactly. It functions similarly to most corporate cards available today — focused on spending rather than cash access.

Vova: So basically, once the physical card is out, we can still use it for online transactions, but now also in real-world scenarios — like tapping it on a payment terminal, just like we do nowadays.

Shawn: Right! And remember, we’ll always update the product page, so even if things change or new features are added in the future, users can stay in the loop through the updated link.

Vova: That's super helpful.

Can the Physical World Card Be Added to Apple Pay or Google Pay?

Vova: And speaking of features — once people get the physical World Card, will they be able to add it to their digital wallets like Google Pay or Apple Pay?

Shawn: Yes, absolutely!

Once you have the physical World Card, you’ll be able to link it to Google Pay, Apple Pay — basically making it even easier to tap and pay, especially during business trips or quick business purchases.

Vova: Nice.

Are There Any Fees When Using the World Card for Purchases

Vova: And what about fees? If someone uses the card to buy something — like I love picking up a good book at Duty-Free sometimes — will there be any hidden fees when using the card?

Shawn: Great question.

Simply put — no, there are no extra user fees on the transactions.

From your side, you just pay the merchant's listed price — whether it's in dollars, euros, or any other currency — and that’s it.

WorldFirst won’t charge any additional transaction fees for using the card.

Vova: That’s awesome.

So if I buy a book for $20, I pay $20, no surprises.

Plus, because of the cashback program, I might even get a little money back, right?

Shawn: Exactly!

The more you spend on legitimate business expenses, the more cashback you’ll collect at the end of the month.

It's a nice bonus for doing regular business spending.

Vova: Very cool.

What Counts as a Business Expense on the World Card

Vova: Now, just out of curiosity — when you say "business purposes," is that something WorldFirst actually checks?

Like, if I’m buying a coffee during business travel or grabbing a book during a layover, are those considered okay?

Shawn: Good question.

We do have transaction screening in place.

Basically, different types of purchases are categorized with codes, and we monitor them to ensure the transactions fall within acceptable types.

However, we mainly block illegal activities or anything suspicious.

That said, it’s a bit tricky to define what counts as purely "business" versus "personal," especially for company directors.

If you’re traveling for business and grab a meal or a book, it usually falls under typical business expenses.

We aim to be inclusive and flexible, allowing for a wide range of transactions as long as they’re legitimate and related to your business activities.

Vova: Thanks for explaining that. It’s super helpful — and honestly, it’s good to know there’s some flexibility there without going too deep into the weeds.

Shawn: Exactly.

We want to make life easier for businesses, not harder.

Can You Use the World Card to Pay Suppliers

Vova: And just thinking aloud — let’s say a supplier asks us to pay them through credit card.

Could we use the World Card for that?

Like, go to their website, punch in the card details, and pay them?

Shawn: Absolutely — that’s actually a perfect use case for the World Card!

The world of e-commerce is hyper-connected now.

Most service providers, whether big or small, have checkout systems that accept card payments.

That’s your moment to plug in your World Card details and pay securely — all while possibly earning cashback.

Vova: Man, that’s pretty awesome.

The more I hear about it, the more I realize how useful it can be for businesses.

Shawn: That's the goal!

We built the World Card to help businesses save money, streamline payments, and keep better track of expenses — whether you’re advertising, traveling for work, paying suppliers, or handling logistics.

Vova: Thanks, Shawn.

And again, everyone — the button to the World Card page is down below.

Keep an eye out, because as Shawn mentioned, new features like the physical card are coming soon — and who knows what else might roll out in the future!

Shawn: Yep!

We’re always working to add more features and make the World Card even better for businesses around the world.

Vova: Awesome!
