Eli: Marina and I've realized that we lean a bit towards the visionary side.

Recently, we delved into a book called the E-Myth, which shed light on the importance of different roles in a business.

It emphasized the need for a visionary to generate ideas, followed by a manager and a technician to execute those ideas.

While we embody both visionary and managerial traits, we're inclined towards the visionary aspect.

Currently, we're exploring ways to establish these systems effectively, ensuring that the managerial aspect is adequately addressed.

It's crucial because having a surplus of ideas without proper execution can lead to stagnation.

Our current focus involves collaborating with virtual assistants to streamline our processes.

Navigating these processes often requires extra time due to the inevitable trial and error involved in refining and adjusting things.

However, we're committed to learning from the experts, immersing ourselves in the best literature available to ensure our business operates in a more sustainable manner.

Marina: Another point worth mentioning is how we've embarked on a journey of reading business books together.

It's fascinating how discussing these books sometimes brings to light aspects that one of us may have overlooked.

We've had moments where I've drawn attention to something Marina hadn't noticed, and vice versa.

It's a dynamic exchange of insights.

E-myth Revisited is really a wonderful book.

It emphasizes the diversity among individuals, which may seem obvious, but the book delves deeper into how this diversity can be advantageous.

It stresses the importance of having a visionary who can envision the growth and direction of the business, along with a technician to handle the nitty-gritty details.

Technicians play a crucial role in any operation.

They're the ones who lay out the practical groundwork, providing clear instructions on how things should be done.

For instance, they'll specify the exact location for storing bottles, ensuring they're organized by expiration date.

They create detailed systems, outlining each step from start to finish, even down to where to place signatures and dates.

This level of meticulous planning is what we find lacking at times, but it's essential for smooth operations.

Having individuals dedicated to executing tasks ensures that every aspect of the business runs like a well-oiled machine.

When different types of people come together in this manner, the entire business benefits, operating seamlessly and efficiently.

Vova: Perfect!

Conclusion

That wraps up our discussion about the E-myth Revisited book.

Let's sum it up…

We touched on the importance of having a balanced approach in running an Amazon business.

From understanding the roles of visionaries, managers, and technicians to the significance of collaboration and learning from the experiences of others, it's clear that success in this field requires a multifaceted strategy.

Marina and Eli shared their experiences and challenges, highlighting the need for effective systems and processes to ensure smooth operations.

Learning from books and engaging in discussions has been instrumental in their growth as Amazon sellers, emphasizing the value of continuous learning and adaptation.

They also stressed the vital role of technicians in executing tasks efficiently and maintaining the integrity of their business operations.

Essentially, by surrounding ourselves with the right people and fostering a collaborative environment, we all can overcome obstacles and achieve our goals in the ever-evolving landscape of Amazon selling.

So, whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your existing business, remember the importance of balance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

With the right approach and mindset, success on Amazon is within reach for anyone willing to put in the effort and dedication.

Just keep exploring, keep learning, and keep growing.

Until next time, happy selling!

P.S. - Another good book for sellers is Ride The Amazon Wave. Here's my video review of the book.
