Well, you’re in the right place!

In this article, we’ll dive into an in-depth review of the OutSource School Course and learn how it can help you outsource and hire top-notch virtual assistants (VAs).

I’m Vova Even. With over seven years of experience as an Amazon FBA seller, I’ve navigated the ins and outs of the business.

Alongside selling, I also create content on YouTube and Udemy, sharing valuable tutorials, tips, and tricks for Amazon sellers.

For those who prefer reading over watching, I run this blog where I provide written versions of my videos.

Recently, I had the pleasure of interviewing Nathan Hirsch, the co-founder of OutSource School, to review his course, which is designed to help you find and hire amazing virtual assistants.

Nathan is a great entrepreneur who helps people in their business journeys.

He has three amazing companies that make things easier for others.

EcomBalance is one of them, and it offers reliable bookkeeping every month for eCommerce businesses.

We also have a review of EcomBalance on our blog.

Then there's AccountsBalance, which helps businesses like agencies, software companies, and online stores keep track of their money.

Lastly, TrioSEO creates SEO content that brings in more visitors and leads.

Pssh… If you talk to them and mention my name, Vova Even, you'll get three extra articles for free!

I’m also excited to share an exclusive 40% discount coupon for the annual subscription to OutSource School, along with a free organic marketing blueprint — available only to my followers!

But for now, let's focus on OutSource School.

How Nathan Hirsch Built OutSource School: A Behind-the-Scenes Look

Vova: Nathan, can you tell us a bit about yourself? How did you come up with the idea of OutSource School?

After that, we’ll dive into what OutSource School is all about, how it works, and how it can help your business.

Nathan: Thanks for having me, Vova.

My journey as an entrepreneur started when I was 20 years old, back in college.

I had a tough time hiring other students to help me out because they weren't very reliable.

At that time, I was running a big Amazon business right from my college dorm room, and I was feeling super stressed.

I was working nonstop and really needed help.

Then, a friend of mine introduced me to a virtual assistant (VA) from the Philippines.

That moment changed everything for me.

But it wasn't easy at first.

It took me years to learn how to hire the right people from the Philippines and how to work well with VAs.

I ran into a lot of problems along the way.

You might have heard about VAs disappearing, not staying in touch, or needing the same instructions over and over.

I faced all of that.

So, my business partner, Connor Gillivan, and I decided we wanted to create the best hiring process out there.

Once we did that, everything changed for us.

Not only did our Amazon business become more organized, but we also started a marketplace for pre-vetted virtual assistants and freelancers called FreeUp.

The cool part about FreeUp is that we grew it into an eight-figure business and eventually sold it.

And get this — we did all of that without an office or any US employees.

Our entire team was made up of 30 virtual assistants from the Philippines.

They handled everything: sales calls, customer service, bookkeeping, and all our marketing.

You name it — they were in charge of it.

Even though we had thousands of VAs and freelancers on our platform, it was our 30 VAs in the Philippines who kept our business running smoothly.

When we sold FreeUp in 2019, a friend of mine, who might also be a friend of yours, Nate McAllister, reached out with an idea.

He said, "Hey, why don't you teach people your hiring process?"

And that's how OutSource School got started.

At OutSource School, members get to use our hiring process and apply it to their own business.

They also have access to all of our SOPs (standard operating procedures) that they can easily put to use.

Our goal with OutSource School is to make entrepreneurship easier, especially when it comes to hiring.

We want to help millions of people simplify this part of their business.

Vova: That's really awesome, Nathan.

How I Started Hiring People

Vova: I also want to mention that our mutual friend, Barak Almog, is one of your students.

I actually learned from Barak — he taught me how to find a perfect virtual assistant for a business using your process.

It took me a few years to get the hang of hiring.

When I first started my Amazon business, which I still run with a partner, it took us about three years before we hired our first person.

Later, I also had to figure out how to hire for my YouTube business and everything else.

Barak really helped me out.

He got a lot of inspiration and practical advice from you and OutSource School.

Who Can Start Learning at OutSource School

Vova: So, like you said, OutSource School is a course that covers everything you've learned from running big businesses.

You're sharing all of that with people to make hiring easier for them.

When you have the right people helping you, it makes running and building a business much faster.

But, do you think people need to have some experience in hiring before they join OutSource School?

Or can anyone benefit from it?

Nathan: Yeah, here's the cool thing.

We have members in OutSource School who have never hired a virtual assistant before.

We also have some people who have tried hiring but struggled with it.

And then there are people like Carlos Alvarez — you might know him from Wizards of Amazon.

This guy has even more virtual assistants than I do!

I run four businesses where 90% of the work is done by VAs, and I think Carlos has twice as many as I do.

I heard he has around a thousand VAs working for him.

Even he joined OutSource School and said, "I got a lot out of it that helped improve my hiring process."

So, when we started OutSource School, we honestly didn't know who it would be best for — newbies or experienced people.

But we've found out that no matter what level you're at, you can always make your hiring process better.

We like to break hiring down into four parts: interviewing, onboarding, training, and managing.

Sometimes, you might be great at interviewing, but maybe your onboarding could use some work.

Or maybe you want to take the way I run meetings and use it in your business.

We have so many simple tips, cheat sheets, and tools that are designed to be easy to use.

You can grab them, put them into your business, and start using them right away.

We didn't want to create a course that takes 20 hours to finish and then needs lots of practice.

It's all plug-and-play, so you can begin right away.

It's been amazing to watch people — whether they're new to hiring, have struggled with it, or even had some success but want to improve — completely transform their hiring process quickly.

Vova: That's pretty cool.

Does OutSource School Only Cater to the Online Businesses

Vova: Nathan, is OutSource School only for online businesses?

I mean, since you're talking about virtual assistants, I guess it's mainly for online businesses, right?

Or is it useful for other types of businesses too?

Nathan: It's funny — people from all sorts of businesses have joined OutSource School.

We've had doctors, real estate agents, and even people with physical stores.

Of course, they can't run their whole business from home, but they use parts of what we offer.

For example, they might use our organic marketing blueprint to have a virtual assistant help with lead generation, getting them on podcasts, or handling customer service and phone calls.

There are many things inside OutSource School that you can use for any kind of business.

We have over 30 SOPs (standard operating procedures) covering everything from marketing to operations.

You might decide not to use the podcast SOP if it's not relevant to you, but there will be other SOPs that are more important for your business that you can use.

Vova: That sounds great!

But how does the pricing work?

Is it a monthly subscription for the course, or do you pay just once?

Pricing Model of OutSource School

Vova: Can you share the pricing details, please?

Nathan: It’s $1,000 a year to be a member of OutSource School.

With that, you get access to our hiring process, all of our SOPs, and our Facebook group where you can connect with other members.

We also have live coaching calls once a month.

And if anyone uses your code, VOVA40, they’ll get a big discount on the membership.

Vova: Sounds great!

Is there anything else about OutSource School that we haven’t talked about and that I should have asked you?

What You Can Do With Virtual Assistants

Nathan: A lot of people think virtual assistants are only good for data entry or small tasks.

But we push the limits of what VAs can do.

For example, we have VAs who handle sales calls and even go on podcasts to promote a business.

Connor and I use a special organic marketing blueprint for all our companies, and you can get that blueprint for free at https://outsourceschool.com/organicmarketing.

There are many creative ways to use virtual assistants once you get the hang of it.

Hiring is a skill, just like PPC (pay-per-click) and writing.

You can get better at it with practice.

You just need a good process to follow and someone to learn from.

I’m really proud of what we’ve built with OutSource School, and I hope you’ll benefit from it.

Vova: Awesome! Nathan, thanks again for being a guest, and thank you to everyone who watched.

Nathan: Thank you!
