Introducing Hiba Weber

Before we dive into the details of SellerMobile, let me introduce you to Hiba Weber.

Hiba is the CEO of SellerMobile and has been in the eCommerce industry for a long time.

However, she has also taken a detour and pursued social work for a while because of her passion for social justice.

Hiba obtained her master's degree from Colombia and even joined the Peace Corps.

She then found her way back to eCommerce and has been focused on SellerMobile for the last couple of years.

Hiba's eCommerce Journey

Hiba started her eCommerce journey right after college with her brother and a friend.

She started selling party supplies, specifically glow and light-up products, which grew and grew until she was making close to 20 million in revenue before she sold the business about a year and a half ago.

As she was scaling, Hiba needed a tool that would help her manage her inventory, so she created SellerMobile for herself.

She created the tool to help her make informed decisions about restocking, selling, and managing listings and SKUs.

Living in Azerbaijan - A Life-Changing Experience

Before we jump right into the world of SellerMobile, let me hit the pause button for a moment and share something with you: Hiba shared a personal story with me that I'd love to quote in her own words.

So, before we get knee-deep in the nitty-gritty, let's take a moment to hear Hiba's words straight from the horse's mouth.

I lived in Azerbaijan for two years, where I worked on a social benefit project. It was a crazy experience, to say the least, going from living in America to a small village with no electricity and an outhouse. But it was also rewarding to bring something new to the local community and share a simpler life with them.

Inspiring, no?

For me, it's always great to hear about experiences that broaden one's horizons and help them grow as a person.

I myself have traveled for a year through Southeast Asia, backpacking through various countries.

I love immersing myself in local culture and exploring new perspectives.

There's so much to learn and discover from other cultures, and it's an endless source of inspiration.❣️

But now, let's refocus our attention on the topic at hand.

From Self-Use to Helping Other Entrepreneurs…

After using SellerMobile for her own business, Hiba realized that other sellers could benefit from it as well.

Soon, with her background in social work and her passion for helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses, SellerMobile became a tool for other sellers to help them scale their businesses.

A little aside…

If you get a rare solution for a common problem, what would you do?

Do what Hiba did i.e., share it with your community or just keep it for yourself?

As for myself, you know that I am an online seller.

I always look for ways to improve my business and expand my reach.

That's why I will – as I do – create videos that provide practical information to other sellers.

Sharing my knowledge and experience is rewarding, and if it can help someone grow their business, then it's even better.

SellerMobile: an All-in-One Tool for eCommerce Sellers

According to Hiba, SellerMobile is a comprehensive tool designed to help eCommerce sellers manage their inventory, restock, analyze data, and make informed decisions about their businesses.

One of the unique features of SellerMobile is that it provides sellers with valuable data about their listings and SKUs, including information about their competition and their performance on marketplaces like Amazon.

With SellerMobile, sellers can make informed decisions about their businesses based on real-time data.

They can monitor their sales, inventory, and profit margins, and make adjustments as needed.

This data allows them to optimize their listings, restock their inventory, and even adjust their pricing strategies to stay competitive.

SellerMobile Versions

SellerMobile is available in two versions: the desktop version and the mobile app.

Both versions have unique features that cater to different needs of online sellers.

I'll explain each of them in detail below.

SellerMobile Desktop Version – A Robust Business Dashboard

When you first log into the desktop version of the software, you'll see a robust business dashboard with various tools and features to help you manage your online business.

SellerMobile Mobile App - A Powerful Tool for Sellers on the Go

SellerMobile also has a mobile app that provides individual widgets for all the different tools and features.

It's a great way to keep track of your business on the go, especially for those who travel frequently like me and Hiba.

You can easily manage your business without being tied to your computer.

Easily track your orders, monitor your inventory, and access all the tools and features from your phone or tablet.

It's like having your own little business dashboard in your pocket.

Let's dive in and talk about the web app version.

As a seller on Amazon, you know that keeping track of all the different costs and fees associated with selling on the platform can be a daunting task.

That's where SellerMobile's web app comes in - it provides you with a holistic overview of your business, along with the tools and information you need to make informed decisions and lead to growth.

Big Picture Overview

When you first log into the SellerMobile web app, you'll see a big-picture overview of your Amazon business.

This includes a holistic view of your sales, inventory, and expenses.

While you can't make changes at this level, it gives you valuable information to dive deeper and identify areas where you can make improvements.

Truth be told, every business has its pain points, and Amazon sellers are no exception.

The Big Picture overview may seem overwhelming at first, but it's an important starting point to identify the pain points and areas where you can make improvements.

By using the data in the Big Picture Overview and capitalizing on it to make informed decisions, you can identify where your business is lacking and make changes to improve it.

While you can't make changes at the overview level, it provides you with valuable information to dive deeper and identify areas where you can make improvements.

The app provides a methodical approach to digesting information in small bits, similar to eating a pizza pie – one slice at a time.

By taking this approach, you'll be able to fix certain things and grow your business.

Individual ASIN Level Overview

The SellerMobile web app also provides you with an Individual ASIN Level Overview.

This allows you to dive deep into the data for individual products and make informed decisions.

Marketplace Level Overview

Like the Individual ASIN Level Overview, SellerMobile provides you with the Marketplace Level Overview to help you assess relevant information about your Amazon business.

For example, it gives you a breakdown of the costs and fees associated with selling on the platform.

Yes, selling on Amazon isn't free.

Amazon is great for having a pre-made audience that's ready to buy, but they also charge fees for that.

There are 72 different costs and fees associated with selling on Amazon, and it can be tough to keep track of them all.

SellerMobile's web app helps you identify where you might be bleeding money and provides you with tools to cut costs and increase margins.

Let me delve a little deeper into this.

Understanding Your Costs and Fees

One of the most important things I can do as a seller is to accurately track my costs and fees.

While Amazon provides some basic information about sales and revenue, it's not always enough to make informed decisions.

With SellerMobile, I can input my cost of goods and other expenses, allowing me to get a more accurate picture of my profit and margin.

I also appreciate the ability to integrate my PPC or Amazon advertising data, which helps me see exactly how much I'm spending on advertising for each product.

Advertising Campaigns and Keyword Data

Once I have a handle on selling costs and fees, I like to dig deeper into my campaign and keyword data.

SellerMobile allows me to see which campaigns are doing well and which aren't, as well as which search terms and keywords are driving traffic and sales.

This information helps me optimize my campaigns and make sure I'm getting the most out of my advertising budget.

Growth and Trends Tracking

Another key feature of the SellerMobile web app is the ability to track trends and growth.

By comparing my sales and revenue data to the same time period from the previous year, I can see if I'm on track to meet my goals.

If I'm not seeing the growth I want, I can dig deeper into the data to figure out why and make changes to my strategy.

Inventory and Cash Flow Management

As a business owner, I know that managing inventory and cash flow is critical.

SellerMobile allows you to easily see which products are on the way to Amazon and which ones are just collecting dust and costing me money in storage fees.

You can also see which products have the highest capital asset, allowing you to prioritize sales and make sure your money isn't tied up in slow-moving inventory.

Competitive Analysis

SellerMobile also provides valuable information about your competitors.

You can see how they're pricing their products and who has the buy box for each ASIN.

This information helps you make informed decisions about your own pricing strategy and can give me an edge in a competitive market.

Cost of Goods

One of the most important costs associated with selling on Amazon is the cost of goods.

With SellerMobile, you can easily input your cost of goods, giving you a more accurate profit and margin analysis.

This information helps you make informed decisions about your pricing strategy and gives you a competitive edge in a crowded market.

Integrating Your Amazon Advertising

SellerMobile allows you to integrate your Amazon advertising, so you can see exactly how much you're spending on advertising for each product.

You can also dive deeper into your campaigns, ad groups, and search terms to see what's working and what's not.

This information is invaluable when it comes to optimizing your advertising campaigns and maximizing your return on investment (ROI).

FBA Shipments and Storage Fees

With SellerMobile, you can keep track of all your FBA shipments and see what's on the way to Amazon.

You can also monitor your storage fees for your FBA items and decide if it's time to dispose of them or bring them back.

This data-driven approach ensures that you're always making informed decisions about your inventory and maximizing y profits.

Capital Management

As a business person, one of the most important aspects to consider is your capital and cash flow.

Knowing where your money is stuck and which of your listings or ASINs have the highest capital is crucial to ensuring your success on Amazon.

SellerMobile provides you with an overview of this important information on the Big Picture dashboard.

It provides you with all the important numbers you need to know, such as the cost of goods, sales, and other relevant data.

Think of it as the data that Amazon gives us, but on steroids. 😉

By identifying which of your listings or ASINs have the highest capital, you can focus on ensuring those items sell and make the most profit.

🐇 Lesson of the Day 🐢

When it comes to selling on Amazon, it's important to remember that success is a slow and steady process.

Avoid the temptation to jump in headfirst and take risks that could ultimately result in a crash.

Instead, focus on a steady approach that allows you to put money into new products, get them to rank, and then decrease your investment to make a profit and increase your margin.

In the world of Amazon, there's a difference between black hat and white hat tactics.

It's always better to stay on the white side, even if you're just starting out and playing around with the system.

In the long run, it's the best approach for a successful and sustainable business.

SellerMobile is a great tool to help you achieve this.

You can see where you've spent money, where you were in the red, and at what point you began making a profit.

This kind of information is essential for maintaining a steady and successful business on Amazon.

The Global Dashboard

SellerMobile has recently released a Global Dashboard that provides you with even more information about your Amazon business.

The dashboard gives you a comprehensive view of your business, including your sales, inventory, expenses, and more.

It's a powerful tool that allows you to make informed decisions and grow your business.

For international sellers or those who sell on multiple marketplaces, this dashboard is the best thing they can utilize.

Global dashboard provides a different perspective on your business.

It allows you to compare up to 17 different marketplaces and see which ones are yielding the most profit.

You can add or remove marketplaces as you like, pick the time zone you want to see, and choose the currency you prefer.

Let me include some examples of how you may use the dashboard.

Comparing Different Marketplaces

When analyzing your marketplace, you need to compare different marketplaces, and you can do that by looking at your orders, sales, costs, profit margins, and ROI.

The Global dashboard provides all of this information in one place.

It lets you put on different hats depending on what information you need.

Whether you want to master accounting or stay ahead of restocking, SellerMobile features it all to get you covered.

Performance Trends

The Global dashboard also allows you to look at the performance trends over a specific time frame.

Essentially, you can see what happened in the last 30 days, this year compared to last year, or the last 12 months compared to the 12 months before that.

This way, you can track how you're doing and determine if you're making progress or not.

Lost Sales

It's also worth looking at lost sales to understand why they're happening and what you can do to prevent them in the future.

Restocking

As an eCommerce seller, you need to keep your inventory stocked up to the optimal level.

By doing so, you can avoid stockouts and ensure that your customers can always find what they need on your website.

The Global dashboard suggests how much you need to restock so you can restock your inventory and make sure that your customers will get what they want exactly when they want.

Refunds

Refunds are another critical aspect to consider.

The dashboard allows you to track where most of your refunds are coming from, which can help you understand why customers are returning your products.

This way, you can take corrective measures to minimize the number of refunds.

Inventory Overview

The dashboard also offers a big-picture view of your inventory.

This feature is – again – especially useful for sellers who have a presence in multiple marketplaces, as they can view all their markets in one place.

It eliminates the need to go from one marketplace to another, making it more convenient to compare the different markets.

Inventory Listings

You can view detailed information about your inventory as well.

SellerMobile's Global dashboard has a dedicated inventory and listings section for this.

Here, you will find valuable information such as the inventory status, the age of the inventory, and how much inventory you have for each listing.

Product-level Insights

One of the most valuable features of the Global Dashboard is the ability to see detailed information about each product.

For example, you can see my buy box price, current price, and the costs and fees associated with each product.

However, it's important to note that the ROI isn't displayed because the cost of goods isn't included.

To get a true picture of your profits, you need to input the cost of goods for each item.

The 30-day profit and margin overview is also helpful for seeing how each product is performing.

Custom Attributes

For larger sellers, the ability to create custom attributes at the product level is a game-changer.

This feature allows me to sort all of your ASINs in a customized way, based on factors like seasonality or product type.

For example, you can create custom attributes for products that sell well during Christmas or other holidays.

This makes it easier to manage your inventory and make sure you have enough stock of the products that are most important during certain times of the year.

ASIN-level Changes

While the overview is great for getting a high-level view of your business, real changes can be made at the ASIN-level.

This is where I can make a real difference in my business by adjusting my PPC spending, analyzing order data, and managing returns and refunds.

By looking at your reviews, returns, fees, and inventory, you can identify problem areas and make changes to improve your business.

Demand Forecasting

The forecast feature is another cool addition to the Global Dashboard.

It may seem overwhelming due to the amount of information it presents.

However, once you delve deeper, it becomes clear that the feature is simple to use and makes perfect sense.

Demand forecasting uses your historic sales data to predict how much inventory you'll need in the future.

This information is essential for sellers who want to make informed restocking decisions.

The Global dashboard provides an easy-to-read chart that shows the number of units sold historically (shown in blue), the units sold this year (in green, starting from January), and the forecast for future sales.

SellerMobile's forecasting algorithm considers a range of factors to predict your future sales.

These include your sales history, seasonality, and other trends in your industry.

However, as a seller, you know your business best, and the algorithm can't always anticipate every external factor that could affect your sales, such as supply chain disruptions or unexpected demand shifts.

Overriding the Forecast

Thankfully, the Global Dashboard allows you to override the forecast based on your intuition and experience.

For example, you may have had a cash flow issue that prevented you from purchasing enough inventory last month.

This may have affected your sales, but you've now fixed the issue and are confident you can sell more units in the future.

In this case, you can update the forecast to reflect your anticipated sales.

By doing this, you're giving the algorithm more information to work with, and it will adjust the restock suggestion accordingly.

This means that you can make more informed restocking decisions, taking into account both the algorithm's predictions and your intuition as a seller.

Why Demand Forecasting is Useful

Demand forecasting is a valuable tool for any Amazon seller, especially those who are new to the platform.

It provides a data-driven approach to restocking decisions, which can help you avoid stockouts or overstocking.

This feature also helps you plan your inventory and budget accordingly, making it easier to manage cash flow and avoid unnecessary expenses.

Moreover, the ability to override the forecast means that you're not solely relying on the algorithm to make decisions for you.

It's crucial to remember that the algorithm is only one tool in your arsenal as a seller.

You have your intuition, experience, and market knowledge, which are all essential in making informed decisions for your business.

Restocking

Another feature that sets SellerMobile apart is its restocking functionality.

SellerMobile's system allows you to set up restock settings that fit your unique needs and preferences.

You can choose how often you want to restock your inventory, based on factors like the number of ASINs you have and the amount of time you have available to manage your inventory.

For example, if you have a smaller inventory with only a few ASINs, you may not need to restock as often as someone with a larger inventory.

SellerMobile allows you to customize your restock cycle to fit your specific situation.

You can also set reminders on your calendar to ensure that restocking is a regular part of your routine.

Besides this, you can set the safety period.

This refers to the amount of inventory you want to keep on hand as a buffer against unexpected changes in demand or delivery delays.

By setting a safety period, you can ensure that you always have enough inventory on hand to fulfill customer orders and avoid lost sales.

For example, let's say your safety period is 15 days.

If you experience a sudden increase in sales or a delay in receiving new inventory, you have 15 days' worth of stock on hand to meet customer demand.

This can help you avoid losing sales and keep your customers happy.

Essentially, SellerMobile is not just a tool, but a service that caters to serious sellers who are making six, seven, or eight figures.

Hiba and her team are sellers, and they understand the importance of having data to back up decisions about inventory and restocking.

That's why their software provides you with the data and insights you need to make informed decisions about your inventory and restocking strategy.

The company also offers personalized demos and support to help you get the most out of their system.

Whether you have questions about restocking, inventory management, or any other aspect of running an eCommerce business, they're here to help.

Lead Time Analysis

Inventory management is a headache for any Amazon seller, whether you're just starting out or you're a seasoned pro.

One of the most important factors to consider when managing your inventory is lead time - that is, the time it takes for your products to get from your suppliers to your Amazon FBA warehouse.

With SellerMobile, you can easily track your lead time and use that information to make informed restocking decisions.

By analyzing your current stock levels and your projected sales for the next few months, SellerMobile can tell you exactly when and how much to restock.

Restocking Suggestions

Once you know when to restock, SellerMobile makes it easy to actually do so.

Using the restocking dashboard, you can see at a glance what products need to be restocked, and how much of each.

The dashboard includes information on your current stock levels, reserved stock, unfulfillable stock, inbound stock, and forecasted sales for the next seven days and two months.

Based on this data, SellerMobile will suggest how much of each product you should restock.

Creating Purchase Orders

Of course, once you've decided what to restock, you'll need to actually place an order with your supplier.

This is where SellerMobile really shines.

Instead of having to manually create purchase orders in Amazon Seller Central, SellerMobile allows you to create purchase orders directly within the app.

You can sort and filter your products by a variety of criteria, making it easy to find the ones you want to restock.

And if you're ordering from multiple suppliers, SellerMobile will even split your purchase order into separate orders for each supplier.

But it doesn't stop there.

Once you've created your purchase order, you can download it as a PDF and send it directly to your supplier.

And in the future, SellerMobile plans to add the ability to email your purchase order to your supplier directly from the app.

Connecting Suppliers to Listings

To take full advantage of SellerMobile's purchase order creation tools, you'll need to connect your suppliers to your Amazon listings.

This allows SellerMobile to automatically generate purchase orders based on your restocking needs.

You can add your supplier information and connect it to your listings within the app, making the process quick and easy.

Connecting suppliers to Amazon listings is a necessary and vital tool for all sellers, and SellerMobile makes the process seamless.

With the feature, you can restock your inventory easily, and you will always have the appropriate amount of stock available for purchase.

Repricer Feature

SellerMobile offers a repricing tool that not only lowers your prices but also allows you to increase your margins.

With the Repricer, you can set a strategy that lets you reprice up when an opportunity arises.

This tool is particularly useful for sellers who are trying to make money while keeping their prices competitive.

With SellerMobile's Repricer feature, you don't have to engage in a race to the bottom.

Instead, you can keep your prices competitive and still make a profit.

Feedback Generator

Another tool that SellerMobile offers is the Feedback Generator.

With this feature, you can create a campaign and send out emails to your buyers.

You can use any template you want, but be sure to follow Amazon's guidelines to avoid any negative consequences.

Amazon has strict rules about what you can and cannot say in your emails, so make sure you're following the guidelines.

PPC Ads

SellerMobile also offers a PPC Analytics tool.

With this feature, you can get information that will help you understand how your PPC campaigns are performing.

The tool is easy to use and will give you insights into what works and what doesn't.

Notifications and Alerts

SellerMobile also sends notifications every time there's a sale.

This way, you can keep track of your orders and have a real-time view of your sales.

You can turn off the notification sound if you're working in an office and don't want to be disturbed.

Personally, I love this feature. Because as a seller, the best news you may receive is a sales notification.

I remember how exciting it was to receive a notification for a sale when I first started out.

It’s almost like a dream come true for new sellers to see their products getting sold on the platform.

And it’s not just exciting for new sellers but also experienced ones who want to monitor their new products.

You can turn on notifications for a particular product, and that way, you won't get notifications for every sale you make.

Apart from handling functional tasks for your Amazon business, you can also set up notifications and alerts on SellerMobile.

The tool features a few ways to notify you, including text messages, and push notifications on mobile and desktop.

There are various categories for alerts and notifications, depending on what you want to be notified about.

  1. Daily Sales Summary – You can set up a daily sales summary that will send you an email at the end of the day with details about your sales, profit, margin, and more.

  1. Margin Information – You can also set up alerts for high or low-margin products so that you can focus on them accordingly.

  1. New Order Notifications – New sellers can get excited about this notification, which will inform them when a new order is placed.

  1. Advertising Summary Notification – You can get a summary notification of your advertising campaigns and their performance.

  1. Item-Level Alerts – You can receive alerts at the item level. For example, if you have a registered brand on Amazon, we can send you a notification when someone jumps on your listing or when you have a hijacker.

  1. Competitor Marking – If someone is reselling your products on Amazon, you can mark them as a competitor or reseller rather than a hijacker. This way, we won't send you any more notifications about that seller.

  1. Out-of-Stock Notifications – If you're out of stock, we will notify you to restock. We will also notify you of your storage fees, high inventories, and when your FBA shipments are ready to be sold again.

  1. Customizable Alerts – You get to choose which alerts you want and which ones you don't. You can choose how often you want to receive alerts and where you want them to go. For example, you can pick real-time alerts or daily alerts, and you can choose which email address you want the notifications to go to.

  1. Product Research Alpha – SellerMobile is working on a keyword tool that will help you research products in the market, including impressions and click-through rates. This tool is currently in alpha, and the team is still working on it.

The Bottom Line

As I mentioned in the beginning of the post, SellerMobile aims to be a one-stop-shop for Amazon sellers.

By having one app to manage multiple tasks, you will not only save time but also reduce the possibility of errors.

Using multiple software tools for different tasks is not only time-consuming, but it can also lead to confusion.

Different software uses different formulas and methods, and comparing them is like comparing apples to oranges.

SellerMobile's goal is to help you make sense of the data and translate it into a way that a seller can think about their inventory.

For example, with the restock feature, you can easily see when you need to restock a product before it runs out.

This feature is essential, especially for products that take time to create.

The longer it takes to make the product, the harder it is to manage the inventory.

Therefore, being able to see everything in one place is crucial.

Well, that's it for today and until next time,

Yours,

Vova :)
