Jungle Scout recently updated the names of its pricing plans.


What was previously known as the Basic plan is now called Starter, Suite is now Growth Accelerator, Professional has been renamed to Brand Owner, and Cobalt is now referred to as Enterprise Solutions.

This article has the latest names and pricing info. Just a heads-up though, some of my older videos and articles don’t show these updates yet, so keep that in mind if you check those out.

Can You Switch Your Jungle Scout Plan or Subscription?

According to the official info from Jungle Scout, yes — you can upgrade or downgrade your plan, and you can switch between monthly and annual billing, all from inside your Jungle Scout account dashboard.

That means you don’t have to call anyone or go through a lot of hassle for most changes.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Log into your Jungle Scout account.

  1. Click on Settings from the menu.

  1. Find the Subscription or Billing section.

  1. Click the button labeled Change Plan.

From there, you’ll be taken to a page where you can pick different subscription options.

You can easily switch from the Starter plan to Growth Accelerator or Brand Owner, or vice versa.

You can also toggle between monthly payments and yearly billing (though with some restrictions, which I’ll cover below).

How to Upgrade or Downgrade Your Jungle Scout Plan

Let’s say you started with the Growth Accelerator plan but now want to upgrade to the Brand Owner plan because your business is growing and you need more advanced tools.

Or maybe you want to downgrade from Brand Owner rank to being a Growth Accelerator if you find you’re not using all the features.

Here’s what you do:

After clicking Change Plan in your account, you’ll see Jungle Scout pricing page.

By default, the page usually shows Annual Pricing.

If you want to pay monthly instead, click on the Pay Monthly button.


Choose the new plan that suits your needs.

Click Buy Now to move forward.

You’ll then see the checkout page where you can review your order summary and add payment details.

If everything looks good, just complete the purchase.

This will update your subscription immediately.

It’s pretty straightforward.

Switching Between Monthly and Annual Billing

Here’s an important note: while you can generally upgrade or downgrade your plan within monthly or annual billing, switching from an annual plan back to monthly billing isn’t available directly through the dashboard.

If you want to do that, you’ll need to contact Jungle Scout’s customer success team at support@junglescout.com and they will assist you.

Because annual subscriptions usually come with a discount, changing that mid-subscription needs special handling by support.

What If You Get an Error Message?

Well, that’s no longer the case.

Jungle Scout now bundles the extension as part of their Growth Accelerator or Brand Owner plans.

So if you’re looking to upgrade from an old extension-only plan or extension lite, just keep in mind that you might lose lifetime access if you had it.
