Let’s start with my experience and how I discovered this nifty trick to unlock the door to valuable conversion rate opportunities.

I received a review on one of my Amazon products where the buyer shared that they saw the product on YouTube and Google, and since they liked the idea behind it, they searched for it on Amazon and purchased it.

This is the point where I got an idea! The trick is easier for an established brand. The hack is to place your product on other platforms, such as Google as well aside from Amazon. 

But don’t worry, even a newbie and recently established brand can benefit from it. So, to get an idea, let me share an example.

When purchasing a product, most buyers love to check out authentic reviews. So, instead of relying only on Amazon reviews, they search for them on Google.

To do so, the buyers search for the brand name first and then the keyword of the product. For instance, "Pro Baby Safety" is the brand name, and "Baby Crib" is the keyword for the product.

The search result appearing on Google depends on your location as well. When you scroll on the search page, you will find a section of videos in the carousel sourced from YouTube, some blog posts, Amazon listings, and press releases. The idea is to ensure your social proof attracts potential customers and augments the conversion rate.

How to Create Social Proof for Your Amazon Brand?

It's simple but takes time and requires patience. You need to fill the search page with your proof of existence. 

Find some bloggers per your niche to review your product and make blog posts. You may also find YouTube influencers to make detailed videos on your product. They must include your brand's keyword in their blog posts and videos. These sincere endorsements will augment your sales, boost traffic, and make you relevant to the industry!

Billo is a great app that helps you generate tons of videos. You can then upload them to Amazon, your YouTube channel, or even to your blog to accompany the blog posts.

The idea is that when potential buyers search for your brand and use specific keywords, they will find your existence on social media. 

Even if they don't read all the blog posts or watch the videos, they will perceive your brand as genuine and authentic. This increases brand visibility, adding value and legitimacy to your brand.

Do I Need Social Proof for All of My Products?

It's normal if you start thinking that you need to create social proof for all of your listings. This is going to be hectic! But the good news is that you don't need social verification for each of your listings.

For example, if you are selling a fork or knife, there is no need to create blog posts or videos on it. 

I mean, you still can, and should, but the chance ain’t high that people will be searching for reviews of a toothpick :D

These are simple usage items and don't need authentication from different mediums. However, for expensive things like a Crib Tent, you need to create a pool of proofs to make it a legitimate item for the buyers.

New users need tutorials, tips, hacks, and reviews before purchasing a product. You can also create videos yourself, helping new users identify the product's advantages and usage.
