Usability: Helium 10 features a huge catalog of products pulled directly out of Amazon. Black Box allows you to extract your desired products from this catalog using various criteria.
Example: Let's say you want to see products in the baby niche having over $50,000 revenue per month. The product's price must be over $50, with a maximum of 25 reviews, and it should only have up to two images on the listing. Input all your requirements into the Black Box and wait for a few seconds until it generates a list of products to choose from.
Benefit: Black Box is a super-efficient tool. It unifies all the metrics you need to make an informed decision without having to ramble and search elsewhere.

Availability: Trendster is fully available in both the Platinum and Diamond plans.
Usability: Trendster allows you to visualize how a product's sales, search, and price patterns change over time.
Example: Let's say you are interested in a product in the barbeque niche. Just input the product ASIN and the keyword phrase in Trendster and hit the "Start Trendster" button.
It will instantly generate a graph showing how the sales ranked and product pricing changed over time. Trendster will also create a Google Trends graph to demonstrate the keyword's popularity over time.
Benefit: Trendster's ability to show you trends between various time frames — including 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, and All-Time — makes it a great tool in determining if a product is worth your investment or not.
For example, if the "All-Time" sales of a product rise in the summer and fall in the winter, it indicates the product is seasonal and, thus, not a good choice. The reason is that it's difficult to manage seasonal inventory as sometimes, you end up with an excess of stock, and sometimes you run out of it.
So, you can use Trendster to decide whether a market will be profitable in the long run or not.

Availability: Xray is accessible to Amazon as well as Walmart sellers. While Amazon sellers enjoy complete access to it with both plans, Walmart sellers only get 50 launches per month with the Platinum plan.
Pro Tip for Walmart sellers: If you are just starting out, the Platinum plan might be a good choice. But if you are an advanced seller constantly looking for new stuff to sell, it isn't enough. Fifty launches are rather suitable for a day's worth of use. Thus, in this case, you should go with the Diamond plan where Xray is fully available.
Usability: Every product in Amazon's database is assigned a Best Seller Rank aka BSR. It is a score that determines which products are ranked and thus shown up on the first page of search results.
Helium 10 Xray is a Chrome extension that evaluates all search results based on the BSR and then generates sales and revenue metrics to help you validate products on Amazon.
Example: Let's say you want to find a profitable kitchen knife. Simply search "kitchen knife" on Amazon and launch the Xray extension from the Chrome toolbar. You wouldn't even have to wait for a few seconds when Xray will present you with a wealth of information to understand whether the niche is worth exploring or not.
Benefit: To be honest, finding lucrative products on Amazon is not a walk in the park. There are already thousands of sellers for virtually every product.
Xray is a fast, data-driven tool that shows you precisely what you need to know before purchasing a product. It features a variety of metrics, namely the number of active sellers, sales trend, monthly revenue, size tiers, reviews, success score, etc.

2. Keyword Research
-: Cerebro :-
Availability: Like Xray, Helium 10 Cerebro is also available for Walmart sellers. However, while Amazon sellers can use it without any restriction with both plans, Walmart sellers are limited to two searches per day with Platinum. Realistically, this isn't enough, especially for veterans. Here's why: If you want to make more sales, you need to put in some time to find the "best" keywords for your product.
The limit of two searches signifies that Cerebro has less power over Walmart. Yes, it's not too bad, but when you get the tool to work perfectly with Diamond, that's when it starts getting more traction.
Usability: Cerebro allows you to perform keyword research in reverse. Hence, instead of typing in keywords and then receiving products, you enter product IDs or ASINs and receive all of the top and low performing keywords associated with those ASINs. This is also why Cerebro is known as a reverse ASIN/Product ID tool.
Example: Let's say you've stocked a kitchen knife brand that isn't making many sales. You want to see the problem. That's where Cerebro comes to the fore. You'll search the ASIN of your product's top-ranking competitor in Cerebro, and it will uncover all the keywords where that product is ranking for.
Benefit: Cerebro literally lays out your competitors' keyword strategy in front of your eyes. You can use their best keywords in your listing to get your product ranked and drive more sales.

Availability: Magnet2 is another excellent tool compatible with Amazon and Walmart either. However, while it is fully available on Amazon with both the Platinum and Diamond plans, you can only use it freely with the Diamond plan on Walmart. Platinum only supports two Magnet2 uses per day on Walmart.
Usability: Unlike Cerebro, which allows you to view your competitor's keywords, Magnet2 is a Helium 10 tool used to mine additional keyword ideas.
Example: Suppose that your product is a pair of kitchen scissors. You've already found some decent competitor keywords using Cerebro, but you want to get more keywords to raise the bar and place your product above the competition. That's where Magnet2 is going to be helpful.
You just need to type in your main keyword, "kitchen scissors," in the tool and hit the Search button. It will instantly generate a list of some fresh search terms, such as kitchen shears, kitchen scissors dishwasher safe, kitchen scissors big, etc. You can sift through the list to locate the best keywords and then use them in your listing.
Benefit: According to Helium 10, Magnet2 has the "largest" library of actionable Amazon and Walmart-related search phrases and long-tail keywords on the market. So, it can help you identify high-volume keywords that are relevant to your product. Utilizing these keywords in your listing can improve organic traffic and accelerate your sales.

Availability: Helium 10 Misspellinator is fully functional with both the Platinum and Diamond plans.
Usability: While browsing for a product on Amazon, many people commit spelling mistakes. Several of these common mistakes that Amazon doesn't catch and fix automatically become keywords. Misspellinator allows you to find such hidden terms and use them in your listing.
Example: Let's suppose you're selling a pair of scissors and would like to know if there are any misspelled keywords for it. All you need to do is enter your main term, "scissors," into Misspellinator and ask it to find misspellings. Misspellinator will instantly create an interactive table listing all of the prevalent misspellings of the word "scissors."
Benefit: When a user searches for a misspelling you've used in your product listing, its likelihood of ranking at the top of search results — and thus getting more sales — increases.

-: Keyword Tracker :-
Availability: Keyword Tracker is available for both Amazon and Walmart sellers. For Amazon, Helium 10 allows tracking up to 2,500 keywords with the Platinum plan and up to 5,000 with the Diamond. So, if you're a small-scale seller or a newbie, Platinum is good to go. Otherwise, you can opt for the Diamond plan.
Walmart sellers, unfortunately, can't avail of Keyword Tracker with Platinum, but Diamond users can track up to 250 keywords.
Pro Tip: If you are an active seller who needs to track keywords off and on, don't settle for manual tracking just to avoid having to pay for the Diamond plan. You may also purchase Keyword Tracker via an A La Carte membership.
The reason I am insisting on having a tool is that manual tracking takes up a big chunk of your time. You have to visit the marketplace website, type in your keyword, and sift through the search results to see where your product ranks for that word.
You can imagine how awful it will be if your product is on the tenth page of search results. And this is not a one-time task. You will have to repeat the same process every single day. Keyword Tracker will streamline it all by providing what you are looking for at a glance.
Usability: Keyword Tracker, as you might expect, allows you to track where your product ranks against your keywords.
Example: Let's say you are selling kitchen scissors and want to see where your product ranks for two of your high search volume keywords, "kitchen scissors'' and "kitchen scissors dishwasher safe."
Keyword Tracker will show you the exact position of your product in a matter of seconds. It can also track sponsored terms. So, if you are running a PPC campaign, and your product is still ranking lower, you can figure out why the conversion rate is slow; perhaps you are not targeting the relevant keywords, or your PPC isn't properly optimized.
Benefit: Keyword Tracker is a highly beneficial tool in terms of determining if your marketing efforts are paying off or not. You can see where the problem exists and work on those areas to improve.

Availability: Helium 10 Platinum subscribers can track up to 3 markets per month, while the Diamond users can track up to 5 markets.
Usability: Market Tracker is one of my favorite features of Helium 10. It's a competitor intelligence tool where you just need to create your marketplace and add keywords and product ASINs. It will create different graphs, including an intuitive pie chart to visualize your position in the industry.
Example: Let's say you want to know what percentage of your market is due to your product. The pie chart will break down this information for you. For instance, your product may only account for 10% of sales, and the remaining 90% go to other merchants in your industry. Market Tracker will reveal this to you.
Benefit: Here's how this tool can work wonders: If a new competitor enters the market and starts stealing 20% of sales, you may look at his listing to see what makes him unique. Probably he has no reviews while you have 50, but he is targeting high-volume keywords that you aren't. So, if you use such terms, you will surely be able to catch his sales.

Availability: Profits is another software available to both Amazon and Walmart vendors. However, while Amazon sellers can freely use it with both tiers, Walmart sellers can only do so with the Diamond plan. Platinum members are limited to just 90 days of access.
Usability: Amazon, in particular, gives us almost non-existent sales figures. But sales are sales; how to know if you are making a profit or not? In such situations, Helium 10's Profits tool comes in handy. It's a financial analytics tool that can convert a basic sales price into granular insights.
Example: Suppose you produced $20,000 in sales and wish to determine your profit. Helium 10 Profits will break down this information for you. For instance, you spent $5,000 on PPC, $8,000 was what Amazon charged you in fees, $2,000 cost of goods , $1,000 various expenses, and the remaining $4,000 was your net profit.
Benefit: Profits delivers exactly what it promises. Like, suppose that you invested $20,000 out of which $10,000 was spent on PPC advertising and other expenses, and Amazon deducted $10,000 in fees. So you're sitting there with nothing in your pocket.
Inversely, if you had Profits upfront, you would have known where your graph began to decline and been able to keep up a positive cash flow. This is just an example. Profits, in a nutshell, is what helps you make a fortune on Amazon.

4. Listing Optimization

Availability: Frankenstein comes with both the Platinum and Diamond plans of Helium 10.
Usability: Once you've found all potential keywords using Cerebro and Magnet2, the next step is to comb through them to identify and eliminate any duplicate or superfluous terms. Frankenstein automates this process. It allows you to clean up your entire keyword list in a mere few clicks.
Example: Suppose your product is a kitchen knife, and the keywords you've mined thus far contain irrelevant terms such as a, an, and the from a kitchen knife, the chef knife, and an electric knife. Or let's say there are some repeated words that you only require once. All you need to do is copy/paste your keywords in Frankenstein and apply the necessary filters using the checkboxes.
It may take longer for you to blink than it will take for Frankenstein to spin around with precisely what you're looking for — a fully optimized list of keywords.
Benefit: Frankenstein is a lightning-fast tool. It allows you to whittle down your unfiltered keywords and export them directly to Scribbles or anywhere else instantly.

Usability: Scribbles is a listing optimization tool that allows you to build your listing using Frankenstein-processed keywords. All you need to do is export/input your keywords into this tool and hit the Apply button. Scribbles will provide you with a complete dashboard where you can type in your text, making sure the criteria are fully met.

Benefit: Scribbles gives you greater control over keyword placement, frequency, and precedence. It also helps you ensure that your listing adheres to Amazon's set rules and regulations.

Availability: The Helium 10 Platinum plan allows you to use the Index Checker 150 times per month. This is enough for sellers who're just starting out or have a small number of products to handle. However, if you sell a lot of products, the Diamond plan will suffice as it supports 300 Index Checker uses per month.
Usability: Once your listing is live, the next thing you need is Index Checker. Here's why: Sometimes, Amazon skips to index your product in relevant search results. That means it doesn't show up on any page. To help you be sure that there's nothing like this, Index Checker comes to the rescue.
Example: Let's imagine you're selling a kitchen knife and want to ensure that your product is indexed for the phrase "kitchen scissors dishwasher safe." To check, simply type in your product ASIN and the keyword in Index Checker, and it will show you what's true.
Benefit: Index Checker is helpful in determining that your product listing is completely optimized and indexed for all high search volume keywords.

Availability: Subscribers to the Platinum plan may use the Helium 10 Listing Analyzer 25 times per month. The Diamond plan subscribers, on the contrary, can use it 50 times per month, which is twice as much as the Platinum plan.
Usability: As its name suggests, Listing Analyzer allows you to see the health score of a listing based on the Helium 10's algorithms and its innovative technology.
Example: If you're trying to see whether your listing — the front-end and back-end — is optimized compared to its competitors, then the Listing Analyzer can do that for you. You may also use it to see which of your counterparts are well-optimized and why.
Benefit: Knowing the "why" behind your competitors' health scores increases your chances of getting a leg up on them. For instance, you can understand where you excel and fall short and then concentrate on lacking areas to improve.
Godsend: Helium 10 GEMS is a free tool that allows you to create super Amazon URLs for keyword ranking. I've explained how to use it in the video below.

Availability: Helium 10 Listing Builder has limited capabilities on the Platinum subscription, but you can use it without restriction using the Diamond plan.
Usability: Listing Builder, as its name indicates, is the dashboard where you can build your listing. It's a new addition to Helium 10's roster of products which is pretty much similar to Scribbles but comes with some added functionality.
However, some people, including myself, still prefer to use Scribbles because Listing Builder is a bit slow. Yet, I'd suggest trying both to see which one is most effective.
Example: Here's what Helium 10 Listing Builder looks like:
Benefit: In comparison to Scribbles, Listing Builder is interactive, and it makes the process much easier. You get keyword and best practice recommendations for each section. You can see the possible health score and monthly reach of your product. Over and above, you can directly copy/paste your listing into Amazon.

Availability: Adtomic is an Amazon advertising platform with spending limits on the Platinum plan. However, Diamond users can spend up to $20,000 per month.
Usability: Adtomic is a user-friendly dashboard for creating and managing pay-per-click (PPC) ad campaigns on Amazon.

Benefit: Adtmoic makes the process of creating and managing ad campaigns simpler and more efficient. Pro Tip: If you've been leaning for Platinum thus far, don't be put off by the lack of this feature. You can use another landing page builder, such as Manychat.
Usability: As you might have guessed, the Landing Page Builder allows you to create landing pages.
Example: Suppose that you are getting sales on Amazon, and you want people to register the warranty for your products. How will you do that? You'll need to drive your customers to a landing page where they can submit their names and emails, as well as a database to store their information and then issue the warranty. To build that page, you'll need to design a banner, create forms, add buttons, show inventory and pricing, etc. Landing Page Builder will let you do that without having to outsource a web developer.
Benefit: How this feature may help you is, for example, if you've collected your customers' email IDs to issue warranties, you can use those emails for ongoing marketing campaigns.

Availability: Helium 10's Platinum supports 10 codes and 10,000 scans per month, while the Diamond plan supports 40 codes and 100,000 scans per month.
Pro Tip: Specific to this feature, if you are an emerging seller, the Platinum plan is more than sufficient for you. That's because even if you have 10,000 sales a month, not all customers will be scanning the codes.
Usability: This feature allows you to add different QR codes to your landing page and let customers scan them.
Example: Let's say you're offering a free warranty. You can use this Helium 10 feature to create a QR code that customers can scan to enter your portal and receive the warranty.
Benefit: QR codes not only help you increase traffic to your website but also empower your customers to recognize, connect with, and follow your brand.
