Helium 10 A La Carte Plan: Pricing & Current Options

In this guide
What is the Helium 10 A La Carte plan?
Helium 10 A La Carte was a subscription option for buying individual tools instead of a bundled plan. My video explains that earlier model. As of November 4, 2026, the public pricing page does not list A La Carte; check your account or support for any legacy options.
If you only need keyword research or product validation, paying for an entire software suite can feel unnecessary. That is exactly the problem the old A La Carte menu tried to solve: choose the tool that supports your work and keep the monthly commitment smaller.
The useful question today is still the same: which tools will you actually use? I’ll walk through the tools from my review, explain the pricing differences, and show you how I would compare the available options without getting distracted by an attractive introductory price.

Can you still buy Helium 10 tools individually?
The official Helium 10 pricing page currently presents Platinum, Diamond, and Enterprise. It does not show the old menu for building an A La Carte subscription. That means I would not send a new customer through the video’s checkout steps expecting the same purchase options.
If your existing account shows an older subscription, ask support what remains available before changing it. An old invoice, tutorial, or search result does not confirm that a new customer can buy the same arrangement. Account-specific eligibility needs an account-specific answer.
Also distinguish a standalone tool from an add-on. A standalone subscription pays for one tool by itself. An add-on extends another subscription and may require a paid base plan. Compare the complete bill, including that base plan, whenever an additional feature looks inexpensive.
My practical recommendation is to begin with your workload. Write down whether you need to discover products, research keywords, monitor listings, or understand profit. Then identify the smallest available subscription that supports those jobs at the required usage level.
Black Box and Xray: discovery versus validation
These tools answer different questions. Understanding the difference helps you avoid paying for overlapping research while missing the information you actually need.
Black Box: finding product opportunities
Black Box searches a product database using criteria you choose. In my video, the example combines fewer than 50 reviews, more than $20,000 in estimated monthly revenue, and a listing with only two images. The aim is to find products worth investigating further.
Those filters are a starting point. Low review counts and weak images do not prove that a niche is easy. I would inspect competing listings, customer complaints, product costs, and the reason shoppers buy before turning an interesting result into an inventory order.
For the complete research process, use my Black Box guide and the tutorial below. Keep the selected marketplace and available filters in view as you follow along.

Xray: examining the products in front of you
Xray is the product research component of Helium 10’s Chrome extension. In the video, I describe using it to validate ideas while browsing products. It complements the database search: Black Box helps build a shortlist, while Xray helps examine the market around an idea.
Treat estimated sales and revenue as research signals. They cannot tell you your future conversion rate, supplier quality, or advertising costs. I would compare several relevant products rather than treating the strongest listing as the result a new seller should expect.

Cerebro, Keyword Tracker, and Index Checker explained
Cerebro and Magnet: two ways to discover keywords
The original video shows Cerebro and Magnet as separate purchases. Cerebro starts with a competitor’s ASIN, the product identifier used on Amazon, to research keywords associated with that product. Magnet starts with a seed phrase and expands it into additional keyword ideas.
Today, Helium 10’s merger announcement puts those workflows together in Cerebro. You can research from an ASIN or a keyword within the combined tool. Budgeting for two separate subscriptions based on the old video would therefore misunderstand the current setup.
For kitchen scissors, I would choose genuinely comparable competitors, then investigate phrases such as “kitchen shears” or “dishwasher safe kitchen scissors.” Relevance comes first. A high-volume phrase is a poor target when the product does not meet the shopper’s expectation.
Build a focused keyword list and record why each term belongs. Separate broad discovery phrases from specific features and use cases. This makes the research easier to turn into readable listing copy and a deliberate advertising test.

Keyword Tracker: following positions over time
Keyword Tracker monitors where a product ranks for selected search terms. My review includes Amazon and Walmart tracking. Keep each marketplace separate when you evaluate results, and confirm that your chosen subscription supports the marketplace and tracking capacity you need.
If you change a listing or promote a keyword, compare its ranking trend before and after. Record other changes too, including price, stock availability, and promotions. A ranking improvement by itself does not prove which action caused it or whether the advertising was profitable.
Index Checker: checking search eligibility
Index Checker investigates whether Amazon associates a product with a keyword. Indexing and ranking are different: indexing concerns eligibility to appear, while ranking concerns position. Passing an indexing check does not promise a first-page placement or meaningful search traffic.
When a relevant term appears missing, review the listing’s wording and product relevance before making changes. Avoid adding inaccurate features simply to target another phrase. Recheck after an appropriate interval and keep a record of what you changed.
Match the discount to the work ahead
Once you know which tools you need, compare the subscription total with each eligible code. Choose the offer that fits how long you expect to use the software.

Alerts, Refund Genie, and Profits: the operational tools
Alerts: noticing changes that deserve attention
Alerts monitors listings and highlights changes. My review discusses examples such as unexpected fee changes and new reviews. The current Alerts overview emphasizes listing changes, price monitoring, and potential hijacker activity. Check the specific alert types available in your account.
The value comes from responding intelligently. If an alert flags a change, inspect the listing and relevant records before deciding what happened. A notification gives you a reason to investigate; it does not automatically establish fraud or fix the underlying problem.
Refund Genie: the reimbursement tool in the video
Refund Genie is described in my original review as reimbursement assistance for situations such as lost inventory. Its historical subscription price should not be confused with a promise of recovered money or a current service quote.
Helium 10 now also promotes a Managed Refund Service that submits and follows up on claims. That managed service is a different offering from the Refund Genie workflow shown in the video. Review the scope, eligibility, and charges of whichever option your account offers.

Profits: understanding what remains after costs
Profits helps you review financial performance beyond a sales total. In my example, a product costs $5 and sells for $20. That $15 difference is not automatically profit: selling fees, fulfillment, advertising, and other relevant costs still need consideration.
Keep product costs and reporting dates accurate, then compare the results for individual items. A product can generate impressive revenue while leaving little money behind. I would use the dashboard to identify questions, then reconcile important figures with the underlying records.
Historical A La Carte pricing versus today’s plans
The video mixes regular prices with a first-month VOVA50 promotion. Here are the clear examples it discusses. These figures explain the original comparison; they are not a price list you can use to subscribe today.
| Tool | Old regular monthly price | Old first-month promotion |
|---|---|---|
| Black Box | $39 | $19.50 |
| Cerebro | $39 | $19.50 |
| Keyword Tracker for Walmart | $59 | $29.50 |
| Alerts | $39 | $19.50 |
| Refund Genie | $99 | $49.50 |
This distinction changes the calculation. Historically, Black Box and Cerebro at $39 each totaled $78 monthly before discounts. Adding a $59 tracker brought the total to $137. A collection of individually affordable tools could therefore cost more than a suitable bundle.
The transcript also contains inconsistent spoken prices for Magnet and Xray. I would not turn those figures into a purchasing recommendation. Use the current checkout amount rather than reconstructing an offer from an older recording.
For comparison, today’s public prices show Platinum at $129 monthly or $99 per month billed yearly, and Diamond at $359 monthly or $279 per month billed yearly. These are USD figures before applicable taxes and eligible coupons. An annual monthly equivalent means an annual billing commitment.
Compare renewal costs over the period you expect to subscribe. On a hypothetical $100 monthly subscription, 20% off six months saves $120 during those months; 10% off twelve months also saves $120 over a year. After that, an ongoing discount may become more valuable if pricing and eligibility remain unchanged.
How to check your plan and apply a discount
The account menu remains the right place to review your own subscription. Helium 10’s plan-change instructions direct users to Plans & Billing. Follow the options actually displayed there.
- Sign in and open the account menu in the upper-right corner. Select Plans & Billing.
- Compare the available subscriptions against your required tools, marketplace, and usage limits.
- Enter VOVA6M20 or VOVA10 where the checkout accepts a promotional code. Compare one offer at a time.
- Read the amount due, billing frequency, discount duration, and renewal terms before confirming.
- If you have legacy access, ask support what a plan change would remove or preserve before proceeding.
A free account is useful for orientation, but it does not promise unrestricted access to every tool. Check your own allowances before scheduling a large research session or committing to deliverables for a client.
For a broader comparison, read my Helium 10 pricing guide. I would choose based on the next month of actual work, then reassess once I had a clear record of which features I used.

Which option makes sense for your workload?
I would make the decision differently for these three situations. The common thread is paying for work you can name, measure, and complete.
Before comparing plans, list your expected monthly searches, number of products, marketplaces, and collaborators. Then check whether exports and historical data matter for your process. This small requirements list makes the comparison concrete and reduces the temptation to purchase features you cannot use.
You only need occasional research
Start by checking the free account’s available access. Define one product or keyword question and see whether you can answer it. Upgrade when the limitations block a useful task, rather than buying because a dashboard looks impressive.
You research and optimize regularly
Compare a bundle against your recurring product research, keyword, and tracking tasks. Count searches and tracked products as well as tool names. A subscription earns its place when you use its outputs to make better decisions.
You already manage active listings
Include monitoring, profit visibility, and reimbursement workflows in the comparison. Check which reports you need and who will review them. More functionality is worthwhile only when someone has time and responsibility to act on it.
Set a review date before renewal. Ask what you completed, which limits interrupted the work, and which features you never opened. That review is more useful than assuming either the cheapest or the most expensive plan must be the right choice.
Free tutorials to help you use the tools
The two free playlists mentioned in my review can help you connect the tools into a workable process. Follow the lesson relevant to your next task and check newer account screens whenever an older video looks different.

Helium 10 A La Carte: common questions
Is Helium 10 A La Carte available to new customers?
It is not listed on the current public pricing page. Check the options in your account or ask support about a specific legacy arrangement; do not assume the old menu is still available.
Can I buy Magnet separately from Cerebro?
The old video presents them separately, but Helium 10 has since integrated Magnet’s keyword discovery into Cerebro. Compare current access to the combined workflow.
Which discount codes should I try?
Use VOVA6M20 for 20% off your first six months or VOVA10 for 10% off every month, forever, on eligible subscriptions. Checkout must confirm the offer that applies.
Is the cheapest plan always the best value?
Only when it covers the work you need. Compare tool access, search limits, marketplace support, and renewal costs. Paying less for a subscription that cannot complete your task is not useful savings.
Choose your tools with a clear purpose
My advice from the original review still holds: understand the job first, then compare the complete subscription cost. Use the free account to explore and confirm the offer before paying.
