How to Manage Your Amazon PPC More Effectively With Helium 10 Adtomic

In this guide
The quick answer
How can Helium 10 Adtomic help manage Amazon PPC?
Helium 10 Ads, known as Adtomic in the original video, helps Amazon sellers manage PPC campaigns with advertising analytics, bidding rules, keyword harvesting, negative targeting, budget rules, and automation. The goal is not to put PPC on autopilot and forget it. Use the tool to reduce repetitive work while regularly reviewing whether its suggestions and rules still match your advertising goals.
Amazon PPC can become time-consuming once you have several campaigns, keywords, bids, budgets, and search terms to watch. In my conversation with Carrie Miller from Helium 10, we discussed Adtomic as an advertising assistant that can handle repetitive PPC tasks while keeping important campaign decisions visible.
The name and interface have changed since that recording. Helium 10 now presents the advertising platform as Helium 10 Ads, but the core idea from the video still applies: create rules around the decisions you would otherwise repeat manually, then review what the software recommends or changes.

What does Helium 10 Ads actually do for Amazon PPC?
The simplest way to think about the tool is as a layer between your advertising data and the decisions you repeatedly make. You can still inspect campaigns yourself, but the software helps organize performance data and apply defined rules to selected campaigns.
Current Helium 10 Ads documentation includes bid automation, keyword harvesting, negative targeting, budget rules, dayparting, campaign analytics, suggestions, and a change log. That is a much broader toolset than the short Adtomic introduction in the original video, but it develops the same automation-first idea Carrie described.
| Feature | What it can help you do | What you should still review |
|---|---|---|
| Bid rules | Raise or lower bids based on defined performance criteria. | Whether your ACoS goal still fits the product and campaign. |
| Keyword harvesting | Move useful converting search terms into targets. | Relevance and whether the term has enough data. |
| Negative targeting | Identify search terms that meet your negative-targeting rules. | Whether poor performance is temporary or genuinely irrelevant. |
| Dayparting | Schedule advertising activity around different hours and days. | Whether the pattern is supported by enough historical data. |
| Budget rules | Adjust campaign budgets according to rule conditions. | Whether increased spend is still producing acceptable returns. |

Use PPC automation as a system, not a shortcut
The strongest point from the original video is the ability to set rules. That matters because Amazon PPC often involves repeating the same reasoning: a search term has spent too much without orders, a keyword is converting well enough to deserve closer attention, or a bid has moved too far from the target you want.
Helium 10 recommends reviewing suggestions before immediately turning on automation. That makes sense to me. Start by seeing what the system proposes, compare those recommendations with your own PPC decisions, and automate only when you understand what the rule will do.
1. Define the PPC goal
Decide whether the campaign is protecting rank, gathering data, controlling ACoS, or driving profitable sales.
2. Review suggestions
Check the proposed bid, keyword, or negative-targeting changes before trusting them automatically.
3. Automate carefully
Turn on automation when the rule behaves in a way you are comfortable repeating without manual approval.
Use the Change Log afterward to see what Helium 10 Ads changed. Automation should make PPC management easier to audit, not make your campaigns harder to understand.
Which Amazon PPC numbers should you watch?
Automation is only useful when it is connected to the right business goal. A low ACoS can look impressive while a campaign barely produces sales. A higher ACoS may be acceptable during a launch if you intentionally prioritize visibility and keyword data.
I would keep ad spend, sales, ACoS, conversion, search-term relevance, and total sales context together. If you connect both the advertising and seller tokens, Helium 10 Ads can also use sales information needed for TACoS reporting.
Adtomic in 2026: current Helium 10 Ads access and fees
This is one area where the current product differs significantly from the older video. Helium 10's current documentation says full Helium 10 Ads functionality is available with Diamond and higher plans. Platinum does not include Helium 10 Ads management.
Diamond users can set advertising profiles to Disabled, Analytics-Only, or Managed. Analytics-Only lets you review campaign information without enabling management features. A profile set to Managed gives access to campaign management and optimization features.
Helium 10 currently applies a 2% management fee to the advertising spend across profiles set to Managed. The fee applies to the full ad spend of those managed profiles, not only to changes made by automation. Review the current Helium 10 Ads pricing guidance before enabling management.
Before choosing Diamond
Compare the subscription discount with your PPC workload
If Helium 10 Ads is the reason you are considering Diamond, estimate how much time you currently spend checking bids, search terms, negatives, budgets, and campaign performance. Then compare that workload with the subscription price and applicable advertising management fees.
VOVA6M20
Compare the larger six-month subscription discount if your account is eligible.
VOVA10
Compare the recurring discount if Helium 10 will stay in your regular workflow.
Coupon eligibility can vary by account and billing option. Subscription coupons should not be assumed to reduce separate advertising management fees.
Is Helium 10 Ads worth using for Amazon PPC?
I think the strongest use case is an Amazon seller who already has active PPC campaigns and is spending enough time on repetitive campaign management that automation can solve a real problem.
If you are completely new to Amazon advertising, start by understanding campaign structure, match types, search terms, bids, budgets, ACoS, and your product economics. Automation becomes more useful once you understand the decisions you are asking it to repeat.
For an established seller managing many campaigns, Helium 10 Ads can bring reporting, rules, and automation into one workflow. That can reduce manual work, but I would still schedule a regular PPC review instead of assuming automation means the account no longer needs attention.

Is Adtomic still available?
The advertising tool shown as Adtomic in the older video is now presented through Helium 10 Ads. Expect current menus and features to differ from the recording.
Can Helium 10 Ads automatically change bids?
Yes. Bid automation can apply bid changes automatically for supported campaigns. Review the suggestions and your target settings before enabling automation.
Can it add negative keywords automatically?
Helium 10 Ads supports negative-targeting rules. Suggestions can be reviewed manually or automated after you are confident that the rule reflects the way you want the campaign managed.
Which Helium 10 plan includes Ads?
Current Helium 10 documentation lists full Helium 10 Ads access with Diamond and higher eligible plans. Platinum does not include the management features.
Does Helium 10 Ads replace Amazon Advertising?
No. It works with your connected Amazon advertising account and provides another interface for campaign analysis, management, rules, and automation.
Use automation to support your PPC decisions
The main lesson I would take from the Adtomic review is simple: Amazon PPC management becomes easier when repetitive decisions have a clear rule behind them. Helium 10 Ads can help execute those rules and organize the data, but you still need to decide what profitable advertising looks like for your product.
Start with one campaign, understand the suggestions, test the workflow, and review the change log. Once you trust the process, you can expand automation gradually instead of handing over an entire advertising account on day one.
