Have you ever heard of mystery shopping?


In case you haven't, it's a popular service in the US where brands pay people to visit their stores and provide feedback on their overall experience.


It's like evaluating if the person at the reception was friendly or if they offered any upgrades and other feedback related to their overall experience at the brand.


This is an excellent way for companies to improve their marketing strategies.


Well, that's exactly what intelliRANK is doing in the Product Testing phase.

Let's say you sell products in an unfamiliar region.


In such a case, it becomes crucial to obtain feedback from the people residing in that region, whether it's the U.S., Germany, or the UK.


This is because people in different regions hold distinct views about the product, and gathering their feedback is highly crucial to providing them with VALUE. 


And just to clarify, the feedback here is not in any way related to the reviews.


There's clearly no association between the two! We're speaking about feedback for the seller about their product, which they can use to analyze and take action on their product.


And by doing so, they can also benefit from the sales velocity that is gradually building up on the platform.


Of course, this can be applied throughout the entire life cycle of the product.


For instance, if you have a product that's not selling very well, intelliRANK can also help you with that!

For example, we could ask open-ended questions that require customers to use their imagination to provide more detailed feedback.


Remember - you need to ask them questions that tap their imaginations.


For instance, you could go about asking questions like "Why would you give that product to your friend as a gift?" or maybe "Why wouldn't you give that as a gift to your friend?" and so on.

Amazon Micro-Influencer Program


So the other service that they offer is a brand awareness program called the Micro-Influencers Program.


For this service, they primarily target Instagram.


The whole idea here is that social media nowadays is like a low-hanging fruit - not a lot of people are really taking advantage of it, and I think that's quite a bummer! 


Now, let's say you're launching a new product within a specific market; you will be aware of the product right from the moment you decide to manufacture it.


You will pay for the manufacturing process, and from that point on, you know that you will be selling the product on the Amazon platform, right? 


Now, in terms of brand awareness and how to structure everything in terms of branding, it's essential to start slowly posting on social media.


I recommend doing this from the moment the product is in production and not even live on Amazon, so you can build a bit of traction on social media.


You can put up some content, maybe some photos of the product, and let people hear about you.


After that, when the product is live, you can continue to post on social media and use it as a way to promote the product and build a brand. 


And while we're at it, let's not forget that the service that intelliRANK provides is actually very psychological in nature, particularly in the way they target it.

Although personally, I am not a fan of fishing and waiting for the catch, as a fisherman, it's pretty crucial to stay up-to-date with new products and brands in the market.

And guess what?


What we're targeting is the sense of belonging that people have when they share the same passions and interests.


For instance, if you're targeting a fisherman who has his own audience of people who share the same passion for fishing, this can be an effective way to tap into that community and spread brand awareness.


This is because people tend to stay in small groups with others who share their interests, which is known as the need for belonging in Maslow's hierarchy of needs. 


Now let's say we have a seller who's selling a new fishing rod on Amazon, and we identify a fisherman who has around 2000 followers on social media.


These followers are valuable because they are genuine and not purchased, unlike many followers these days.


Before reaching out to the micro-influencer, we thoroughly examine their profile to ensure that they are a good fit for the respective seller's product and brand.


We check their content and appearance to determine whether they are suitable for our micro-influencer program.


Once we've made sure he's the right fit, the seller can offer him a free fishing rod in exchange for promoting his product.


Sounds cool, right? 


The whole idea behind this is to offer one free product to a carefully selected micro-influencer, who will use it and create content such as photos and videos while using the product during their fishing trips, which they can then share with their audience.


This will help to build brand awareness and achieve two key benefits - authentic media content for photos and videos (make sure to ask for permission to reuse it) and exposure branding.


Before reaching out to a micro-influencer, it's important to go back and look at the engagement rate.


For example, when my team manages my clients' brands, we aim for a minimum of five percent engagement.


This means that people are interacting with the post through liking, commenting, or sharing.


But that's not all.


We also look at the language these influencers use to build content.


But most importantly, we look even deeper to see if the people who are contributing to the posts are also passionate about fishing to see that the audience is really our Target. 


Once we confirm the micro-influencer and their audience are a good fit, we offer them a free product without additional payment and request them to use the product and share their experience with their followers.


And that, too, while tagging the respective seller's brand. 


This strategy is so simple yet so effective; you won't believe it until you try it!


People will start hearing about your product, and as they get to know you, you'll begin creating authenticity about your brand.


It's like building an army of voices who will spread the word about your brand far and wide.


Trust me, it works!


Think about it - you're scrolling through your social media and notice that a few of your fishing buddies are going crazy about a new fishing rod they just got.


A few weeks later, another friend posts about the same brand of rod and how much they love it.


It catches your attention, and now, when you're in the market for a new rod, that brand is at the top of your mind. 


Yep, that's the power of influencer marketing - creating a buzz about a product within social circles and turning customers into brand advocates.


So, if you're one of the sellers selling a new fishing rod, tapping into the right micro-influencers can make all the difference in building your brand's authenticity and spreading the word to potential customers.


And let me tell you, when it comes to fishing men, the number of fishing rods they'll have knows no bounds.


They'll have two hands but a trillion rods to fish - who knows! 


Having said that, being present and sharing your products with the world is crucial in building brand awareness.


This process is ongoing, and it's vital to consistently spread the word and bring more people to know about your brand.


Because guess what?


You'll be making a list of these people that you're giving away free products.


Whenever you're launching your new product from the same brand, those will be the first people who will be the voice out and spread the word about your new product.


Or maybe even purchase it from the start because they already know that you have a good product that you've been providing them for free.


And if that doesn't sound cool, I don't know what does! 


The whole concept here is to convert these micro-influencers into brand ambassadors who will sing praises about your product on a regular basis.


You want to keep them hooked and keep them motivated by offering more freebies and incentives.


It's like pushing a boulder down a hill but in reverse!


You're starting small, but with each nudge, your brand is gaining momentum, getting bigger and better known in the world.


It's all about getting people excited to see what you have in store for them. 😀


If you were to ask me, I believe that this strategy is effective both in the short term and in the long term.


While it is obviously beneficial in the long term as it allows you to establish a lasting relationship with the influencer, launch new products together, and create content, it also has immediate advantages, like getting content and pictures for promotion. 


Let's say you get permission to share them, so you can do so on your Amazon posts and other social media accounts where your target customers can easily access you.


Isn't that pretty cool?


I bet!


All in all, you can work with influencers to quickly spread awareness about your brand and products.

I noticed that some of the listings have social proof pictures, but I think we can take it a step further.


How about we ask our audience to share their own images with our products?


We could use these pictures to add an authentic touch to our listings and show the world how much people love our brand.


Of course, we have to make sure it's within the terms of service, but if we can get influencers on Instagram to share their content, we can use it as a picture on Amazon too. 


It's fascinating to think about showcasing how our customers are using our products through social proof pictures.


Having real-life examples of people using the fishing rods we sell and reels on our Amazon listing would be incredible.


It's a powerful way to show potential customers that our products are top-quality and loved by real people.


Imagine having pictures of different customers with their fish catches and adding their names or even stories of their experience using our products.


And especially when it comes to Amazon posts, they will get you free traffic forever!


And, of course, the support for your products that you need, so everything links together.

While some people may succeed in doing so, it's generally better to work with professionals who have experience in copywriting to ensure the listing is optimized for both search engines and readability.


Yet again, finding the keywords is more or less doable even with no experience (if you've watched the right videos).
