Quick Guide to Group Buying Jungle Scout and Using a Shared Account. Is it the Right Choice for You?

Hi, my name is Vova Even, and I have been an active Amazon seller since 2016. I also share tutorials, hacks, and trade secrets on YouTube and Udemy. My goal is to help new, and advanced Amazon FBA sellers save money while growing consistently.

In this brand-new article, I talk about purchasing and sharing one same Jungle Scout account as a group. Is it an option worth the try or something to stay far away? What are the pros and cons? You will find it all here.

If you would rather watch a video than read the text, I have included it right below. Hope it helps you make an informed decision. :)

Key Resource I Share in this Article:

  1. Jungle Scout Tutorials - YouTube

Jungle Scout Discounts:

  1. Jungle Scout 50% OFF

  2. Jungle Scout Seasonal Deals

  3. Jungle Scout Yearly Deal

As the term implies, group buying refers to purchasing a tool collectively. For instance, if there are 10 Amazon FBA sellers that need to use Jungle Scout on a daily basis, they can pool their resources and buy one tool to share. Thereby, instead of paying $69/month individually, they can pay $6.9/user.

Doesn’t sound bad, right? Now before you make up your mind, here are a few things why you should or shouldn’t consider doing that:

First is safety. Why it is a concern is because you are not paying to the Jungle Scout itself but to a third party. Do you know who you are buying from? Is it an official company or a reliable person? If you trust the person or the company, and everything seems legit, then you may go ahead.

The second thing is you wouldn’t have full access to the software but to some parts of it. Here’s why: There are many features of Jungle Scout that require a connection with an Amazon Seller Central account to be able to use.

Take the accounting section as an example that helps you realize if your Amazon business is profitable or not. It directly connects to your Seller Central account in order to pull out the data for you.

Should you do so? I don't recommend it since a group account has several users who all have access to information that should be private to you. If you want to reveal your data, that's OK, but most people don't.

They don't want anyone to see their numbers or accounts.

The next thing is again not something good in my opinion.

Let's say you're tracking some keywords with Jungle Scout or searching for products. Your search phrases will be visible to other group members, who may take credit for your ideas or perhaps steal them altogether.

So, if you discovered a wonderful product concept that's easy to target even for a novice and doesn't require a lot of money to get started, then everybody in the group will be able to look into that and explore it further.

Now, if you’re serious about your business, you would have figured correctly that I will never advise you to group buy Jungle Scout. Instead, you may save money by purchasing the tool at a discount. I shared three exclusive JS discount deals in this post above. In case you missed them, you may choose from below:

  1. Jungle Scout 50% OFF

  2. Jungle Scout Seasonal Deals

  3. Jungle Scout Yearly Deal

I also have a complete playlist of Jungle Scout tutorials, showing exactly how to use the tool step-by-step.

For example, if you want to
learn the usage of the JS Chrome extension or different parts of Jungle Scout pricing, I have it all there. So, feel free to take a look around.

I hope you have a wonderful day and a wonderful life. Thank you for reading. See you in the next post!

Yours,

Vova :)
