Helium 10 Multiple Users: Setup, Plans & Permissions

In this guide
The quick answer
What is Helium 10 Multiple Users?
Helium 10 Multiple Users lets you give teammates access through their own logins and choose which tools they can use. It is useful for virtual assistants, employees, and business partners. Available seats depend on your subscription, and invited users work within the access provided by the main account.
Delegating Amazon research becomes much easier when the person doing the work can open the right tools. You can assign a keyword task, agree on the expected result, and review the findings without handling every search yourself.
In my Multiple Users overview, I explain why this feature matters when you work with a VA or partner. This guide expands that overview into a practical setup process and updates the plan information using Helium 10’s current documentation.

Which Helium 10 plans include additional users?
Helium 10’s official pricing FAQ currently lists one additional user for Platinum and up to five additional users for Diamond. It also says extra users can be purchased as an add-on. Confirm the arrangement available for your subscription before upgrading.
| Option | Additional users | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Platinum | 1 | Whether its tools cover your team’s tasks. |
| Diamond | Up to 5 | Your required seats and tool usage. |
| Larger team or seat add-on | Confirm with Helium 10 | The written seat allowance and total cost. |
Older material describes Platinum as a single-user option and discusses Supercharge Your Brand for larger teams. Check today’s offer rather than choosing from an older screenshot. A coupon changes the eligible price; it does not independently add seats or unlock tools.
My suggestion: list everyone who needs access before comparing plans. One assistant handling a weekly task creates different requirements from a team doing research, listings, advertising, and operations every day.

Start with a free account and review the current Xray Chrome extension access. Free access has limits. If you upgrade, compare VOVA6M20 and VOVA10 at checkout and confirm the seats included.

Use the account owner’s Access Management screen. Helium 10’s user-management guide describes this process:
- Open Access Management. Sign in, open the profile menu, and select Access Management.
- Select Add New User. Enter the teammate’s email. Use their existing Helium 10 email if they already have an account.
- Complete the invitation. New users receive an activation email; existing users can find the account in their account-switching menu.
- Set permissions. Use the pencil icon beside their entry, select the permitted tools, and confirm.
Before inviting someone, send them a short task brief: what they will research, which marketplace to use, and what they should deliver. An invitation provides access; a clear brief makes that access useful.
Run one small check together. Ask your teammate to open the intended account and complete one sample task. Confirm that the result matches your expectations before assigning a larger batch.
Choose access around the work you delegate
I would start with the assignment and decide which information the teammate needs. These are suggested working arrangements, not preset Helium 10 roles. Adjust them to the tools and permissions available in your account.
Research assistant
Assign a specific niche or competitor list. Ask for a shortlist with the evidence behind each recommendation, plus reasons for rejecting weak candidates.
Listing assistant
Give them a product brief and the relevant research tools. Request a draft with keyword choices explained, then review it before making changes to a live listing.
For example, a keyword assignment could ask for ten relevant phrases, the buyer intent behind them, and a note on misleading matches. That deliverable is easier to assess than a large spreadsheet with no explanation.
Agree on where results should be saved and who reviews them. Keep a short record of each teammate’s responsibilities so that access can be reviewed when their role changes.
Seller Central is separate: Helium 10 states that authorizing its tools does not authorize access to Amazon Seller Central. If the assignment requires work inside Amazon, handle that authorization separately.
How teammates switch accounts and use the Chrome extension
A teammate may sign in successfully but still see limited features because their personal profile is active. Helium 10’s subuser troubleshooting guide explains how to select the main account.
- On the website: Open the profile menu, select Switch Accounts, and choose the business account.
- In the Chrome extension: Open Helium 10, select the username near the bottom-right, and choose the appropriate account.
- If access remains limited: Check the owner’s permissions, the account being used, and whether the extension is up to date.
For a teammate who normally works in one business account, Helium 10 also documents a default-profile setting: open Settings, select Change Default Account, and choose the account. See the default login profile instructions.
I would make checking the active account part of every session, especially when someone supports several businesses. Ask them to confirm the account and marketplace before beginning research or preparing a report.
Common access problems and what to check
The invitation does not lead to the expected account
Compare the invited email with the email your teammate actually uses. Check the user entry and invitation status before creating another invitation. Record the exact error if the problem continues.
Logging in on another device disconnects a session
Helium 10 documents two concurrent devices per user login. A third device can disconnect another session. The limit applies separately to each user login. Read the device-limit explanation.
The team has outgrown its included seats
Compare an additional-seat quote with a plan upgrade. Include the tools your team actually needs in that comparison. Request confirmation of the total seats, billing period, and renewal price before deciding.
If you need help, use Helium 10 support. Include the affected tool, account context, error message, and a screenshot with sensitive information hidden. Those details make the issue easier to investigate.
Helium 10 free account and discount codes
My offer link includes the free account and current free Xray Chrome extension option. The Helium 10 coupon guide describes these offers:
VOVA6M20
20% off your first six months, subject to the eligible plan and current checkout terms.
VOVA10
10% recurring discount, subject to the eligible plan and current checkout terms.
Check the displayed total, discount duration, renewal amount, and user allowance before paying. Do not assume the codes stack. A free account provides limited access, so check the tools available before assigning paid-plan tasks.

Should I give my VA my main password?
Use an individual user invitation. Helium 10’s terms require you to keep your password secure. Separate logins also make it easier to manage access when responsibilities change.
Does an extra user mean another complete subscription?
Treat a seat as access to the business account. Check the subscription’s tool limits and permissions; do not budget on the assumption that every invitation creates a separate allowance for every tool.
How do I remove a teammate who has finished working?
In Access Management, use the trash icon beside their user entry. Also review any separate access you granted to Amazon, shared documents, or other business systems.
