When it comes to succeeding as an Amazon seller, having the right tools can make all the difference.
Helium 10 is one of the most comprehensive and widely used software suites for Amazon sellers worldwide.
But does it offer value for sellers in Canada?
In this article, we’re going to discuss which Helium 10 tools work for Amazon sellers in Canada.
By the end, you’ll have a better idea of whether Helium 10 is the right choice for your Canadian Amazon business.
But before we begin, let me share a little bit about myself.
My name is Vova Even, and I’ve been selling on Amazon since 2016.
I’ve used Helium 10 significantly to grow my business, and it's been a game-changer.
I also managed to snag a free trial and a discount deal on Helium 10, which I highly recommend taking advantage of.
If you're interested, you can click the button below to sign up for a free account.
This allows you to try out most of Helium 10’s tools at no cost, and when you're ready, you can use discount coupons to save on your subscription.
Speaking of discounts, I’ve got two special coupon codes for you.
If you decide to continue using Helium 10 after your free trial, you can choose from one of these options based on your needs.
The first code is VOVA10.
This will give you 10% off your subscription every month.
It’s perfect if you plan to use Helium 10 for the long term, helping you save continuously over time.
The second code is VOVA6M20, which provides a 20% discount for the first six months of your subscription.
This is ideal if you want to test Helium 10 for an extended period while enjoying significant savings upfront.
Choose the discount that fits your business goals, and make the most out of Helium 10!
To help you master Helium 10, I've also created a playlist with over 150 tutorials.
It contains step-by-step guides on all the important features and tools.
Now, let’s get into the tools!
Does Helium 10 Work in Canada? Yes it Does!
Helium 10 has a page that shows which tools are supported in different marketplaces.
Here's the link if you want to check it out now: Which Tools Are Supported in Which Markets? – Helium 10
This page is updated regularly, so if new tools become available in different regions, you’ll be able to see them right away.
You’ll find the tools available for Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and many other markets there.
If we talk about whether Helium 10 works for Amazon FBA sellers in Canada and which tools are available, you'll be glad to know that many of Helium 10's tools are fully functional for Amazon Canada.
Different Helium 10 Tools and Their Availability in Canada
The first tool we'll talk about is for Amazon product research.
One of the main tools Helium 10 offers for product research is called Black Box, and the good news is that it works for Amazon Canada.
Helium 10 Black Box
Black Box is a powerful tool that allows you to explore a massive database of products from Amazon.
You can filter products based on specific criteria that are important to you.

For example, let’s say you’re looking for products that weigh less than 100 grams, are in the home and kitchen category, cost over $30, and generate at least $9,000 in sales per month.
Once you input this information, Black Box will show you products that match these criteria, helping you narrow down options for further research.
Overall, it's a fantastic tool, and I’ve also created a detailed tutorial to help you understand how to use it.
This tutorial is a part of my YouTube playlist, where I cover all the ins and outs of finding profitable products to sell on Amazon.
Next, let’s talk about another tool called Trendster.
Helium 10 Trendster
This tool is helpful for spotting trends related to different keywords and products on Amazon.
While it’s a fairly simple tool, Trendster allows you to track the sales trends of specific products and compare them over time.
It even integrates data from Google Trends, giving you a broader view of how products or keywords are performing outside of Amazon.
And the best part?
Trendster is also available for Amazon Canada, making it a valuable tool for Canadian sellers looking to stay on top of market trends.
Another essential tool in Helium 10’s lineup is the Helium 10 Chrome Extension.
Helium 10 Chrome Extension
This is one of the most crucial tools in Helium 10, and it’s available for free — you can grab it through the button below.
The great news is that the Chrome Extension works perfectly for Amazon Canada, making it a go-to tool for product research and validation for Canadian sellers.
I’ve created tutorials that guide you step by step on how to use this extension, from the basics to more advanced strategies.
You can check them out below.
Helium 10 Xray Chrome Extension Quick Tutorial And Review
What is Helium 10 Xray Chrome Extension? Powerful Amazon FBA Chrome Extension For Sellers
One more tool worth mentioning is My List.
Helium 10 My List
This feature allows you to keep track of products and keywords while browsing Amazon using the Chrome Extension.
You can save different products to your list and monitor their sales trends, reviews, and other important data over time.
This is especially useful if you're researching a specific niche and want to collect and compare products in one place.
When it comes to product research for Amazon Canada, the tools available through Helium 10 offer solid options.
With these tools, you can conduct in-depth research to uncover valuable products and keywords to target.
One of the standout tools is Cerebro, which is particularly helpful for keyword research.
Helium 10 Cerebro
Cerebro is known as a reverse ASIN tool.
Essentially, it allows you to take any product's ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) and input it into Cerebro.
From there, the tool will generate a list of all the keywords that the product is ranking for.
This is a powerful way to understand what keywords are driving traffic to your competitors' listings.
For example, if you're looking into a niche and have identified a few key competitors, you can input their ASINs into Cerebro.
The tool will then reveal where these products are ranking and which keywords are bringing in sales.
It's a highly effective way to uncover the most profitable keywords in your niche.
I also have a free course available that you might find helpful.
It’s called the free Amazon FBA Listing Optimization course, and you can access it through the button below.
This course walks you through how to use Cerebro and provides step-by-step guidance on creating an effective product listing on Amazon.
Over the years, it has been one of the most popular resources on my channel, and while the interface of some tools has changed a bit, the content is still highly relevant today.
The best part?
It's completely free, and there are no hidden upsells.
Another important keyword research tool in Helium 10 is called Magnet, which is also included in the free course I mentioned.
Helium 10 Magnet
Magnet is designed specifically for keyword research.
You can enter a keyword, like "gardening shovel," and it will generate a list of related keywords.
While not every keyword will be closely related, you will see a large pool of options based on the keyword you provided.
From there, you can go through the list and remove any keywords that aren’t relevant, leaving you with a selection of useful keywords for your product.
When you combine the insights from Magnet with those from Cerebro, you can find the best keywords to use for your product listing.
The next area we will focus on is listing optimization, which is essential for selling on Amazon Canada.
Helium 10 provides several useful tools for this purpose.
Helium 10 Frankenstein
One of these tools is called Frankenstein.
This tool helps you process the keywords you found using Cerebro and Magnet.
With Frankenstein, you can easily remove duplicate keywords or any irrelevant ones that you might have collected.
This step is important for refining your keyword list before you create your product listing.
Helium 10 Scribbles and Listing Builder
Once you have processed your keywords with Frankenstein, the next step is to use Scribbles.
This tool, often referred to as Listing Builder, allows you to create your product listing effectively.
In Scribbles, you can input all the cleaned-up keywords that you previously processed.
Here, you will build your title, bullet points, and product description.
Scribbles helps you organize everything to ensure you create a strong and effective listing for your product.
This tool is specifically designed for building your product listings, and I've covered how to use it in my free course shared above.
Helium 10 Index Checker
Another useful tool you can access for Amazon Canada is the Index Checker.
This tool helps you determine if your keywords are properly indexed.
For example, if you are selling a gardening shovel, once your product is live on Amazon, you can use Index Checker to see if it appears in searches.
Indexing means that when someone searches for terms like “gardening shovel” or “gardening shovel with brown handle,” your product shows up in the results.
With Index Checker, you can check where your product ranks in the search results.
It might not always appear on the first page; it could be further down, perhaps even on the twentieth page.
If your product does not appear at all, it could indicate that you chose an incorrect category or that your listing needs to be optimized.
From my experience selling since 2016, I can say that while indexing issues were more common in the past, they can still occur.
To address any indexing problems, you can try adjusting your keywords.
For instance, if a keyword in your bullet points isn’t indexing, consider moving it to your product description or the title if it is relevant.
Overall, Index Checker is a helpful tool, and I recommend using it for your listings in Canada.
The next tool we will discuss is the Listing Analyzer.
Helium 10 Listing Analyzer
This tool provides a detailed analysis of your product listing.
With Listing Analyzer, you can evaluate your own listing or that of a competitor to see how well it is optimized.
You can check if your bullet points are fully written out and if you are using enough characters in each bullet point.
The tool also examines your title, images, and various other criteria to help you understand the overall quality of your listing.
If you input a competitor's listing into the Listing Analyzer, you can see how they are performing.
This allows you to compare their strategies with yours and make improvements to your own listing based on what works for them.
Next, let’s talk about marketing tools available to Amazon sellers.
One important marketing tool is Adtomic, which is designed for Amazon PPC (Pay-Per-Click) advertising.
Helium 10 Adtomic
Adtomic supports different types of ads, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display ads.
These ads help promote your products within Amazon’s platform.
If you want to learn more about using Adtomic and Amazon PPC in general, I recommend checking out the PPC Academy by Helium 10.
Another useful marketing tool is Portals.
Helium 10 Portals
This tool allows you to create landing pages, which can be very helpful for your marketing efforts.
For example, you can build a landing page that customers can visit after scanning a QR code on a physical insert that comes with your product.
This insert might offer customers a way to register for a warranty, asking for their email and other information.
With Portals, you have the flexibility to design these landing pages according to your needs.
Helium 10 includes Portals in its suite of tools, making it more accessible since landing page builders can often be quite costly.
Pfft… Be sure to check out the button below for a free trial and the best discounts available on Helium 10.
Next, let's discuss the Operations tools available for Amazon Canada sellers.
One valuable tool is Alerts.
Helium 10 Alerts
This tool is designed to notify you whenever there are changes to your listing.
For instance, if a negative review is posted, Alerts will let you know right away.
This allows you to respond to the customer quickly and address their concerns directly through Amazon.
Alerts can also notify you if there’s a hijacker on your listing, a change in pricing, or even modifications to the dimensions of your product.
Amazon can sometimes make changes for various reasons, and these changes might seem unusual or unexpected.
Having the Alerts tool means you won’t miss out on any important updates regarding your listing, and you can act quickly to resolve any issues.
Being aware of changes and responding promptly is crucial in maintaining your product's performance and reputation on Amazon.
The next tool to discuss is Follow Up.
Helium 10 Follow Up
This is an excellent tool for post-purchase communication.
One of the best features of Follow Up is its ability to automatically send review requests to your customers after they make a purchase.
For example, if someone buys your gardening shovel, you can set up Follow Up to send them a request for a review a few days later.
This is allowed by Amazon, and you can either use their standard template for the request or create your own emails.
Just remember to adhere to Amazon's guidelines.
Using Follow Up is a smart strategy for post-purchase marketing, and it is particularly useful for sellers on Amazon Canada.
Another helpful tool is Inventory Protector.
Helium 10 Inventory Protector
This tool assists you in managing your stock levels and helps prevent you from running out of products.
With Inventory Protector, you can establish a maximum purchase quantity for different items.
While you can also do this through Amazon Seller Central, it can be cumbersome for larger shops with many products.
Inventory Protector simplifies this process by allowing you to set a limit directly within the Helium 10 application.
For instance, you can set a maximum of four units per purchase for a specific product.
This is particularly useful when you are offering discounts or promotions, as it helps you control the number of items each customer can buy at one time.
Additionally, having a limit can protect you from potential fraudulent activities.
Depending on your product and sales strategy, you might choose a maximum limit of three, four, or even five units.
Next, we have the Inventory Manager, a valuable tool for managing your stock effectively.
Helium 10 Inventory Manager
This tool helps you keep track of how long your inventory will last.
For example, if you inform Helium 10 that it takes 30 days to produce your product and another 30 days to ship it to Amazon, you can calculate your sales.
If you’re selling 10 units a day, you will run out of stock in 30 days after selling 300 units.
In this case, the Inventory Manager will alert you when it's time to start producing more units.
This feature is particularly useful because running out of stock can be a significant issue for Amazon FBA sellers.
It's easy to either run out of inventory or overstock, leading to unnecessary costs.
With the help of the Inventory Manager, you can minimize these risks.
However, while this tool is quite helpful, it's still essential to apply your own judgment and understanding of your products and inventory levels.
The Inventory Manager is effective for sellers on Amazon Canada as well.

The last tool we'll discuss under operations is Refund Genie.
Helium 10 Refund Genie
This tool is designed to help you obtain refunds and reimbursements from Amazon for lost or damaged items.
For instance, if Amazon loses some of your products, you can use Refund Genie to contact them and request a refund.
While it is possible to handle these requests manually, Refund Genie makes the process easier by generating various templates that you can use.
This means you won't have to start from scratch every time you need to reach out to Amazon; the tool streamlines the communication for you.
Currently, I am using another alternative called Getida, a tool that automates the reimbursement process.
In my opinion, it offers a more advanced solution compared to Refund Genie.
I have had success with both tools, but Getida provides additional features that may be beneficial.

Now, moving on to Analytics.
One useful tool in this category is the Keyword Tracker.
Helium 10 Keyword Tracker
This tool allows you to monitor the positions of your keywords.
For example, if you are tracking "gardening shovel with brown handle," and you find it is ranked number three on page one, that’s great news.
Similarly, if you search for "best gardening shovels" and see your ranking is number ten on page one, you can evaluate your visibility.
For another keyword, "gardening shovel metal," you might discover it is ranked at position forty on page three.
The Keyword Tracker also enables you to keep an eye on your competitors’ keywords.
This is especially helpful if you are running pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns.
You can see whether these campaigns are positively affecting your keyword rankings.
Helium 10 Market Tracker and Market Tracker 360
Next, we have the Market Tracker, which is a useful tool for analyzing different products within your market.
For instance, if you sell gardening shovels, this tool allows you to see all your top competitors.
Every day, Market Tracker will suggest new competitors entering your niche, and you can easily add them to your market overview.
This feature helps you understand your market share and see how well you are performing compared to others.
With Market Tracker, you can quickly notice if a competitor is capturing more market share.
You might find that they have lowered their prices or updated their product images.
This insight can be valuable for adjusting your own strategies.
I really appreciate this tool, and there’s a tutorial available below to help you understand how to use it effectively.
There’s also Market Tracker 360, which offers even more comprehensive insights.
Think of it as an enhanced version of the original Market Tracker.
It provides a broader overview of your niche and sub-niche, giving you deeper insights into the category where you are selling.
This tool is also available for Amazon Canada.
Now let's discuss Profits, which is a tool designed for profit analytics specifically for Amazon sellers.
This tool helps you understand your bottom line profit.
To use it, you will input the price of the product you are selling, which includes the cost of goods.
Based on your sales data from Amazon, along with any refunds you receive and all applicable Amazon fees, Profits will calculate your final profits.
With this information, you can clearly see whether you are making money on Amazon or not.
This tool is also available for Amazon Canada, which is great for sellers in that marketplace.
Overall, Helium 10 is a solid option for Amazon Canada, as it offers a wide range of tools that are functional in that market.
I hope you find it useful.
Conclusion
In this discussion, we explored various tools that can help Amazon sellers, especially those working in Canada.
From tracking keywords to managing inventory, each tool plays a key role in making the selling process smoother and more efficient.
Using tools like Alerts, Follow Up, and Inventory Manager can help you stay on top of your business and respond quickly to changes.
Thank you for tuning in.
