How to Use Sellerboard?

Here I will provide a tutorial, review, and overview on how to use Sellerboard and all its tools. Sellerboard is a profit analytical service for amazon sellers with additional tools. I hope you enjoy reading this Sellerboard tutorial article. You can also view my Sellerboard tutorial video down below.

Sellerboard includes newly launched follow-up mail campaigns, autoresponder, inventory management, reimbursement for lost and damaged stock, and other Amazon FBA tools, including PPC optimizer, eBay and Shopify connectors, and listing change alerts.

Starting at $19 a month, every seller needs this excellent tool, and you will understand why. Let's showcase the tool further. Learn more about other Sellerboard pricing plans here.

The Story of Sellerboard

Sellerboard was initially founded in 2017 by Vladi Gordon and Michael Mukhin. The story started with Vladi, a seller on amazon who was confused about his real numbers, how much he was making and paying in fees, and the profit he's left with.

So, he decided to create a tool to aid him in figuring out the profit he was making and what he was not. He wanted to understand if he's running out of stock, and he also wanted to understand the exact profit he's making, since Amazon has tons of different fees, about 70, to be more exact.

Eventually, he decided this would be convenient for other sellers to use and a solution. Later, he sold his Amazon business in 2017 and started working on Sellerboard and its launching.

Dashboard

When you open the dashboard after registering straight away, you will see all the information you need to know on the main page. For example, the first tile shows you the forecast for yesterday, today, the current, and last month. You can also view the products down below.

You can view the sales according to the tile you choose, provided with the number of orders, units sold, and refunds. If you click on refunds, you will see what is wrong with your items, and you can fix the problem accordingly.

You can also view additional details like the sales you made last month with other information. You can view how much you're making and how much you will make on one page.

You can reorder when running out of stock and group your products by parents, marketplace or brand, or channel. You have the option of selling on additional platforms like eBay and Shopify. In addition, since the website is refreshed every 15 minutes, you get accurate information. This is very comfortable for agencies who provide consulting services to amazon sellers.

Of course, it's great for regular Amazon sellers as well.

By the way, I have a an article that compares Sellerboard vs Helium 10. You'll also find a video down below on the same topic.

Helium 10 also offers similar solutions to Amazon sellers, I wrote an article about Helium 10 and what the Helium 10 free trial has to offer to you. You can also read my full Helium 10 tutorial of all the tools.

Cashflow

How do you track what's coming in and going out?

You can see the payouts. You can see all the cash flow going through your seller account. You can also add additional expenses to show accurate information on the dashboard.

This lets you understand the amount you have in cash and the amount that's been transferred through your card account, investing in different things to see how much you're left with.

PPC Dashboard

This recently added feature is a PPC optimizer that recommends your bids. You can analyze the probability of your PPC campaigns and groups and even adjust based on the data you get.

This enables you to manage your ad campaigns, and Sellerboard recommends profitability and keyword usage.

When you click on a product, you can see how much was spent on the ad. PPC of sales, profit, ACOS, break-even ACOS, current bid, recommended bid, and automation status. You can get additional information about the product when you click on more.

Stock

This tool notifies you once you are running out of stock based on your sales velocity. It analyzes the gross of your sales per product, how fast they might be sold, when the time is right to reorder, when you are running out of stock, when you don't need to order, and vice versa.

The chart shows you the FBA/FBM stock, reserved, estimated sales velocity, how many days of your stock is left, a store running out, sent to FBA, prep center stock, ordered, time to reorder, recommended quantity for reordering, and ROI.

Products

The products section concentrates on adding the cost of the products. To have it in one place for different marketplaces, you can edit information according to the right market.

Expenses

In expenses, you can enter other costs you have. You can enter the expenses you don't automatically get from the seller's central. For example, you can add money you've spent on getting pictures of your product with a photographer, your employees or virtual assistants payments, etc.

Report

The report sections allow you to get organized files that have data from Sellerboard. You can export this to an Excel or CSV file with all the information, including the product, the fees, etc. You can then download the report that's been generated. Share this data with experts, partners, virtual assistants, etc.

Autoresponder

The autoresponder sends automated messages to your buyers, asking them to leave a product review, product feedback, and so on.

Another feature they launched on the 28th of January is Reach for Request Review. You choose the standard Amazon template, and Sellerboard uses official arms and seller partner API. This means Amazon sends an automated request to your buyers to review a product with their feedback.

Money Back

Get reimbursed for things that Amazon owes you.

The money-back feature has two options. The first one is lost and damaged, and the other is returned.

You need this because Amazon might owe you a lot of money. If you are using FBA, there must be one case you experienced where Amazon lost or damaged your product in the warehouse. You can download the report and see how many products were lost in damage and you were not reimbursed for them.

You also have a template that lets you contact Amazon separately and ask them directly to reimburse you for the money back. For returns, a buyer might want a refund for a product they don't want anymore, and Amazon will repay them, but they will not get the product back.

If you are looking for an alternative that can help you get money back in an ever easier fashion, check out my review of
GETIDA. It's software that specializes only in "money back".

I have an article for a detailed
GETIDA review, with Yoni Mazor, CGO at GETIDA. I'll also embed the video review below.

Alerts

Alerts notify you with information regarding your products. If you have a hijacker in your listing, if you have listing changes, commissions are changed, etc., you will be notified about everything in your email.

A similar useful tool is Jungle Scout Alerts, by Jungle Scout.

Conclusion

After reading through this step-by-step trial of Sellerboard, you will have a better idea of how to use it. And don't forget to get two months' worth of free trial by clicking on the link below!
