Helium 10 Refund Genie vs Seller Locker vs Refund Sniper: Everything You Need to Know

Every day, Amazon loses a large inventory owing to misplacements, damages, and warehouse put-aways while packing/unpacking, loading/unloading, shipping, and whatnot. If this happens to you, Amazon is obligated to compensate, which sometimes it does automatically, and sometimes doesn't.

In the latter case, if you do not compel the company to reimburse, the chances are that you forfeit all the opportunity to recover your money ever again. That's why I suggest you act faster because Amazon also cuts dates and potentially available days for you to get the money back.

1. Helium 10 Refund Genie

Refund Genie is part of the Helium 10 suite of tools, which is available with the Free, Starter, and Platinum plans ("limited" access) and full access with Diamond and Elite subscriptions. I'm not exactly sure what "limited" means, but you can contact the company for more information.

Back to the tool, Refund Genie is used to partly automate refund requests. It auto-checks Amazon FBA inventory reimbursements for four different reasons and notifies you when Amazon owes you money. All you need to do is copy pre-written messages and email them along with your reimbursement requests.

Refund Genie also allows you to generate reports for multiple marketplaces, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe — all at the same time. Thus, if you sell in these markets, I strongly advise using Refund Genie. Unlike other comparable services, you do not have to pay a fee on the money you receive through Refund Genie. This is one of the reasons why I think it's a fantastic tool to utilize.

What I like most about Seller Locker is that it is simpler than Refund Genie. Second, it handles your reimbursement cases manually as well. Hence, you may further automate the process by delegating it to Seller Locker experts. However, in order to access this feature, you must link the Seller Locker team to your Seller Central account. It would not be complete access, so there is no need to be afraid.

The actual thing to be wary of is that the company does take a cut of the money you retrieve. The percentage varies from vendor to vendor, so you must check it ahead because – after all – you never know what they may deduct.

3. Refund Sniper

Last but not least is Refund Sniper — a tool even easier than Seller Locker because there is no software, and guys just do it all without you having to click on stuff. As I previously stated, I've used it to successfully recover funds from Amazon, so I can vouch for its simplicity.

You just need to grant the company access to your Seller Central account, not the login credentials, but rather the method used to grant access to your virtual assistants or partners. They will only connect to the necessary resources and handle the reimbursement process manually.

If you're worried that it probably violates Amazon's terms of service, there's nothing like that. I had no difficulty utilizing it. I simply provided Chaim Morgan, the Business Development Director at Refund Sniper, and his staff with my email address. They took care of all the work, and I was repaid after a while.

Final Words

All three tools are super helpful, but in my opinion, the best is Refund Genie by Helium 10. Why? Because you only need to purchase a membership. There is no need to pay any percentage of what you owe Amazon — be it $500 or $100,000.

But if your preference is ease, I recommend Seller Locker and Refund Sniper. They have both worked to my delight. Also, they go deeper than Refund Genie.
